Naruto needs to get with Hinata. If anything, Naruto would just be Sakura's rebound after getting jilted too many times by Sasuke. Hinata loves Naruto for Naruto.

Sakura always has been super flaky though... sadly, Naruto has always been stupid and a bit of a masochist.

Aside from the interpersonal reasons that Hinata is a superior girl for Naruto, I'd also make the argument that she is more attractive than Sakura.

Yeah, but the pairing trolls take the most obvious evidence of foreshadowing and twist it. I almost wish Naruto and Sasuke would just pick someone, blatant as in "I love *****" so the trolls can go away.

This is worse than the Tobi being Obito threads. People refused to believe that something so obvious couldn't be true. Kishi is practically doing the same with these pairings. He's had more NaruSaku/MinaKush parallels than NaruHina/MinaKush ones. Right now it's a 60/40 split going the other way.

Kishi opened Pandora's box the moment he started dabbling with romance, even after admitting he didn't know how to write female characters and relationships. He's dropped so many hints at possible pairings that it's hooked people.

I hope not. I don't really think so. For one thing, if symbolism were anything, NaruHina would be manga facts. CC pointed out that Hinata's name literally means "towards the sun." There's a ton of author hints for NaruHina as well.


I don't like the idea of NaruSaku. I get the feeling that if they got together, it'd be like Naruto has a girl and forever has the shadow of Sasuke in their relationship. If anything, this chapter shows that she's not ever getting over him, and that'd be disturbing if they get together in those circumstances. (that and I want NaruHina to happen, and I despise the idea of SasuKar)

Team Kakashi is a parallel of team Minato. Rin never got over Kakshi to the very end and Obito never got her. There are multiple parallels one could take from the manga.

I prefer NaruSaku, but I wonder what's the point of introducing Hinata in the manga if NaruHina doesn't happen.

Hinata was introduced as a character that revolve too much around Naruto. Her major trait is her infatuation (before) and now love for Naruto. It's all about her "Naruto-kun". She is one dimensional.

Dude the parallel is that Kushina was saved in the same way sakura was saved and Minato and Naruto looked back the same way. Kushina wasnt on Minatos team.
