Sakura had plently of time to stake a claim to naruto but never did while we know hinata is a shy girl there wasn't never nothing wrong with sakura going to naruto at any time and try to build a relationship with him. only reason she never did because sakura was pretty much her own worst enemy she couldn't let go of her feelings and love for sasuke if anything the longer sasuke stayed away and continued to walk down that revenge path the more sakura wanted to save him.

Sakura took no action regardless what people can say about her sakura was more outgoing and more outspoken than hinata but she didn't really do anything with naruto and she had the most time with him though out the story. her confession was more out of guilt to get naruto to stop chasing sasuke than it having any intentions of a relationship which kinda burned the bridge with her and naruto. its only now that hinata taking the proper action that so many naru/saku fans are getting angry because there favorite girl never tried to take any action to claim naruto and its now getting closer to the end of the manga that hinata taking action to claim naruto as her own.

Once sakura started to see just how much hinata loves naruto though out the story sakura started to step aside to me that is like sakura giving hinata her blessing to pursuit naruto without her getting in the way.

I think people blow up the whole naruto liking sakura thing. Yeah maybe in the past he did say he liked Sakura but it was always in a humorous way. I felt kishi did this for comic relief rather than making the main character have a 'like' interest. I say like because the relationship between Sakura and Naruto has never shown to be romantic on both parts but Ill admit there is definitely a brother and sister bond there(not really).

Hey, did you know that the side not is written by an editor? It wasn't Naruto who thought it. It wasn't kishimoto who did this, so it has nothing to say.

Then naruto was thinking it...there have been many times when words were put by themselves and was a continuation of what was said by the previous speech bubble whether its thought or spoken

I all ways felt naruto sakura and sasuke were very much like jiraiya, tsunade, and orochimaru when it came to how each of them saw each other. Jiraiya/naruto at one time loved Tsunade/sakura but she was in love with sasuke/orochimaru if you look closely it pretty much a rewind. of the three sannin relationship with each other to the point of orochimaru/sasuke leaving his team mates behind to pursuit ideals or goals. that would mean fighting agaist people you considered family or going down a very lonely and dark road to fillfull ambitions that would make you a enemy of your birthplace and home country.

Alot of times it makes me wonder what is with team seven it all ways seems that someone either dies or turns into one of the biggest traitors in the known world since it seems to pass along each generation.

Tsunade wasn't in love with Orochimaru?

Tsunade had more of a childhood crush on orochimaru But unlike sakura's childhood crush Tsunade moved on while sakura held onto hers. which was the entire message Tsunade tried to reach out to sakura when she took her in as her student. Tsunade was hoping to get her over that childhood crush and become more focused on her Ninja profession. so she wouldn't be left behind by everyone since sakura spent so much of her time chasing after someone that didn't love her in return which was more likely why Tsunade took sakura in as a student in the first place since Tsunade saw alot of herself in sakura when she was a young girl.
