I always thought that panel was just her feeling bad for hinata. rather than her being jealous of her over naruto, she isnt concerned about naruto at the moment if she doesnt continue focusing on healing hinata she will die, she is worried because hinata threw herself into battle with no regards to what might happen. that was my outlook on it.

The difference between what you showed and the thread's author was that in this case Sakura was protecting a number of people, not just Naruto. One can argue that protecting others shows that the protector cares. I would argue, with the exception of maybe bodyguards, that protecting a single person in comparison to the many have a greater significance to the protector.

I feel one thing people tend to forget is naruto still not very social aware when it comes to love and feelings while he understands friendship and never to turn your back on someone. but when someone expresses there thoughts and feelings and stand by how they feel naruto can feel the emotion behind it since it impacts him more strongly since its those's kind of feelings he all ways wants to feel form others. every time hinata has expressed her feelings to naruto she always did it with honestly and sincerity and naruto was all ways able to pick up on it that hinata was honest with what she said even if the comset of love is still a bit of a unknown to naruto he atleast knew that hinata was honest with how she felt.

Sakura on the other hand has all ways been a rollercoaster with her emotions and thoughts and feelings which alot of times she gave nartuo alot of false signals. which alot of times sakura all ways just ended up confusing herself with who she really in love with.

sasuke all ways been someone sakura wanted to save for such a long time and some women want to be the one to save a guy form himself. the hints form the manga so far showing that sakura still has sasuke in her heart while she tells everyone around her she doesn't love him anymore her heart never moved on. form loving sasuke and wanting to save him which is why her confession just doesn't feel like a actual confession that came straight form the heart like hinata's.

And we have to take into consideration that Kisimoto wants to turn sasuke back into a good guy before the end of the manga and redeem sasuke clan though sasuke. if sasuke where to stayed as a villian like obito than naruto/sakura would be very much possiable but since sasuke will be redeemed i just can't see naruto and sakura getting together as a couple or love interest.

Unless Kishimoto decides to kill off sasuke and hinata all of a sudden than i can't see naruto and sakura as canon pairing. since it would really butcher everything he tried to hint though out the story and make the pairing feel not really as a pairing but a mash up of two characters. since there main love interested died without either of them being able to act out there own heart desires so any love between both of them would feel kinda fake.
