It wasn't obvious to the NaruHina fans, they truly believed and were sure Naruto's feeling has moved on from Sakura to Hinata. It was too easy to see all of Hinata's thoughts come to play out but Naruto's. Kishimoto is waiting for the end but before he gets to the end he dropped a bomb on NH in this chapter, don't discount Minato's question and who he entrust the care of his son as a "whatever he hasn't seen Naruto with Hinata" or "Naruto was joking". Edit: it is one-sided as of now but with Minato's approval and so we all have to wait.
Prepare for more pairing tease, upcoming next will be SasuSaku ( he might not try to kill her since it's team 7 into play)

Sakura did not deny it, she told Naruto to shut up and save his energy. He saw her "hurting him" and thought about Kushina--this is how he associated Sakura's physical interaction with his son.
Sakura reaction is a typical tsundere response, it gets old and it's over used but this is a Japanese audience Kishimoto is writing for. Naruto wasn't joking especially since Hinata was right there. If you don't get that then you just don't.

You're still denying that minato doesn't know the facts and Hinatas surprised expression was shown after sakura asked naruto that he already seemed like he knew minato was coming and naruto admitted saying he already sensed his chakra not because of the "NaruSaku" moment. You're obviously avoiding my question because if you did tell me it would just be another NaruSaku fan claim because no mater how you slice Kishimoto is the only one who knows the truth behind the panels. She did it out of courage and love and she knew she didn't stand a chance against Pein and confessed her love knowing she could die. Its not like hinata expected a response back either. First of all, exactly why he doesn't owe her anything. Second it can be one sided on the guys part, because he is the dominant gender esp in this series and will pursue his person of interest regardless of the other women. He has the final say with who he choses if hes given up on sakura she would be rebound but i guess you guys are ok with that.

and yet again, so has Hinata for Naruto and vise versa. Although, Sakura ask him to bring Sasuke,even if she didn't Naruto would have done it, to him Sasuke is his brother after all. Team 7, Iruka and Hiruzen were his only family, by Sasuke leaving that family wasn't the same.
