Right, because an inner monologue from a delusional side-character's perspective means a canon pairing.
OH LAWD.
And this manga is called NARUTO, not Hinata. This is his story. Naruto's goals since day one were to be acknowledged by his village, become hokage, and be with Sakura. It's happening.
Somehow HinaRuto fans fail to realize this. This isn't about what Hinata wants, it is about what Naruto has wanted since the beginning of the damn Manga. And that is not going to change.
Your goals can change during your life.
Yeah, but Naruto's goals have not changed at all. And there is plenty of evidence that Naruto obviously still likes Sakura, and has never changed his mind.
You talk like me, but you don't understand my language yet. For me, a sign is not a proof. And I agree, that's why I said it was a sign.
In order to see a proof, I need to confirm that some facts are consistent with the pattern of personalities in the character that is executing some action. Of course the signs are one-sided until now.
In effect, I agree with what you're saying.

And, what I said with my statements weren't wrong at all... I said NaruSaku, I didn't say SakuNaru. I know things can't be proven otherwise, that's why I don't like the NaruHina term... I like to say Hina-ruto.
I like your HinaRuto term, I am using it from now on Lol
Sakura's growth is related to Naruto and Sasuke. It's the reason why she trained so hard in between the original and Shippuden. After the fight with Gaara and Sasuke's departure she became more determined to become better able to take care of herself instead of being saved. She wants to prove to them she is worth acknowledging as a kunoichi and not just a healer.
Most of the Konoha 11 have been each others rivals at one time or another and their reason for growth, with the exception of Shikamaru, who doesn't really seem to care about such things and Neji and Sasuke who were considered to be so good at everything. Aside from Sasuke Naruto also wanted to do better than Kiba at some points. Lee considered most of them his rival and trained even harder to prove he could be a good shinobi with just taijutsu. Shino would like to be acknowledged more often. They all feed off of each others ambitions and growth.
Yes Hinata loves Naruto and has taken up his ninja way, she wants to be acknowledged by him. She could not have had so much growth unless she started to believe in herself too. If Naruto was her only reason for growth I don't think she would have been up on the front lines encouraging everyone and acting fast when people were dismayed that Naruto's chakra cloak ran out. The old Hinata would have turned red and fainted after talking to everyone like that especially if Naruto was in the vicinity.
Yes I am a Naruto/Hinata fan and I believe Naruto knows that Sakura will never love him like she loves Sasuke. I don't think he wants to be anyone's second choice. Does that mean he will turn to Hinata? Only Kishi knows. He has a huge amount of respect and admiration for her now that he did not have for her before. Sometimes that's enough to start something more than friendship. The Kage meeting, The Invasion of Pain Arc, Naruto's training at the island and the war have seemingly happened in a few weeks time. Naruto has barely had time to catch his breath much less examine his feelings. After the war will be time enough for that.
I don't think Naruto knows that, he knows Sakura loves Sasuke, and has known that since basically the beginning of the Manga, but there is no proof that he "knows" that Sakura will never love him like Sasuke, nor is there proof that is actually the case anyway.
I'll say it again. In order for a relationship to be "canon" both characters have to be romantically attracted to each other.
Unless Hinata intends to keep Naruto chained in her basement this won't work unless he has a serious change of heart. He's been in love with Sakura for the past 10+ years of Naruto.
Lol, chained in her basement lol. This is what people fail to realize, he has not shown any "love" towards Hinata, holding her hand for 3 seconds to give her chakra does not count. He has not had a change of heart, and it is not going to happen. It would take to much time to show that, and that is not going to happen in a Shonen Manga.
Thank you, but I stopped. I am sick of repeating the same stuff against people who OR ignore your arguments OR start about other shit. It is annoying.
Thank you.
Repeating the same stuff? Maybe you are doing that, but not anyone else. Also maybe you are doing that because you have no option, since there is nothing to suggest Naruto likes Hinata except the 3 second hand holding, which means nothing at all. I already gave good arguments towards yours, but you haven't answered me because you probably can't come up with any crap to say.
The only problem is that the girl that he wants isn't going to get over Sasuke..... ever or let's just say the chance that Sakura gives up on Sasuke, now that he is back, is practically zero.
No it is not impossible. Sakura obviously already loves Naruto, but likes Sasuke more. No one seems to put Sasuke in any of these arguments either. What the hell does Sasuke want? You think he wants Sakura? Because I don't, he hasn't shown interest in any girl. Just because Sakura likes Sasuke doesn't mean she is going to end up with him, just like how Hinata liking Naruto means nothing. The only person whose feelings matter is Naruto, because he is the main character in a Shonen manga, and that's how things work.
It is simple: Naruto already accepted the fact that Sakura still loves Sasuke. He moved on ages ago... Then that girl Hinata came in again and Naruto is slowly seeying the truth about love himself... *_*
Seriously, I don't know where you come up with this stuff. Where have you seen Naruto slowly seeing the truth, or where he moved on "ages" ago? Yeah Naruto has known Sakura loves Sasuke since the beginning of the Manga basically, but that hasn't stopped him from loving Sakura and trying to be with her. He hasn't seen anything about Hinata. He held her hand for like 4 panels in the Manga, to give her chakra. He knows Hinata loves him obviously, and has said ZERO about it. He does not love Hinata, and never will in that way. After 633 chapters he is just going to change his mind and not like Sakura anymore? No, he won't. Let me put it another way, he is NEVER going to stop loving Sakura, so if he doesn't get her, he will not be with anybody. This is a Shonen manga, if you really think there is going to be chapters of Naruto's feelings for Sakura going away, and THEN his feelings for Hinata developing, you are gravely mistaken. He doesn't have to just start liking Hinata, he has to STOP liking Sakura first. And that is not going to happen after 633+ chapters. You really think after all this time he is just going to say, "**** it, I don't like Sakura." No, it won't happen.
It was a bit obvious NaruSaku wasn't happening a long time ago, back before shippuden. I find NaruSaku fans to be giant optimists, while NaruHina fans are realists. (most of the time)
Really, NaruSaku fans are giant optimists? And HinaRuto fans are realists? You have it completely backwards. So Naruto losing his feelings for Sakura and then gaining feelings for Hinata, which has to happen for him to be with Hinata, is being a realist? But Naruto being with the girl he has liked for 633 chapters is being optimistic? HinaRuto fans fail to realize that Naruto needs to LOSE his feelings for Sakura FIRST, before you can even think about him being with Hinata. If you really think Naruto will go be with Hinata, while he still loves Sakura, you need to use your brain more.
Mmhm. But the thing is though, Naruto doesn't change. He improves, but I don't think he's ever been shown to do a 180 in his character development. He's pretty much the one who changes the people that are in his life, a little difficult to explain. But yeah, I honestly don't think his goal's are going to change. And I don't think Naruto is the one who'd give up on his goals.
You are 100% right. When has Naruto ever changed? Never. He never is going to either. He has liked Sakura for 633 chapters now, and that is not going to change. He is not going to lose his feelings for Sakura, which means he will never be with Hinata. He will not be with Hinata if he has feelings for Sakura, it just won't happen. So HinaRuto fans have multiple hurdles to get over.
