You can say Naruto emotionally abused her. She tells him I love you and he never acknowledged it again but after the whole a Pein ordeal he his hugged by Sakura in front of the whole village while Hinata goes ".....". Naruto held Kakashi hand to give him chakra too when Kurama took over but there's no KakashixKurama, Gai had a Kakashi ride on his back after the Gaara retrieval arc but no GaixKakashi. Naruto was giving her chakra, after that he tells his dad Sakura was his girlfriend so holding Hinata's hand couldn't have meant much and it shows Hinata goes ".....!" Right after which made it looks like she was reacting to that but it was more likely the arrival of the other Hokages.
I don't hate Hinata but come on, she talked to Naruto like 6 different times in the entire manga, actual convos where both of them were talking and not her yelling when Naruto got kicked by Obito (Team Kakashi & Team Yamato vs Obito) or when she is stalking Naruto. Naruto also thanked Neji for being by his side too to he only thanked both as friends.
That's because Hinata only talked to him 6 time in the manga and would faint when he's there or stalk him from afar. Naruto loves Sakura and that's who he have his eyes on. Many people in real life try to go after the wrong people, Sasuke isn't right for Sakura while Naruto is.
He was going to give her chakra that Kurama was preparing, he thanked Neji. Naruto never shown to have anything but friendship for Hinata so that's a one sided pairing like SasuSaku. Naruto did call Hinata creepy to himself in part 1 if I remember right.
Hinata is only seen as a friend by Naruto, seeing any friend at that point would set Naruto off. In the War arc Naruto was in intense training and fighting in the war 3-4 days with little to no rest so he, like the alliance, were feeling mental fatigue. Ninjas in the alliance were giving up at different points and were reencouraged by Sakura, Shikamaru, Naruto, Kages. Sasuke called Sakura and Kakashi useless and said he wouldn't have saved them if they weren't by Naruto, he didn't care when Madara stabbed her and Sakura thought this at that time, and he told Naruto to pretty much not help Sakura and Kakashi who were going to fall into the lava. He only start to save her after she helped saved him.
True but only talking to Naruto in an actual convo 6x doesn't make me believe Hinata has a chance with him when Naruto loves someone who not only showed to have feelings for him but is someone he wants to be with. I do agree Sakura's love for Sasuke makes no sense and wasn't built on anything that great.
He cares about her as a friend, that's all he shown to see her as and he doesn't react to any of her advancement such as the I love you. I mean, who can pair Naruto to someone who talked to him 6 times the entire manga and who he never shown to think about more than a friend. Sakura loves both Sasuke (first love) and Naruto (new love) and he even took Sai he will tell Sakura how he feels about her after bringing Sasuke back.
Funny thing is, I'm sure it was Sasuke who got Sakura to start to like Naruto in part 1. Like how Minato saved Kushina when they were younger, Sasuke told Sakura that Naruto risked death to save her and she smiled, looked at Naruto and thought his name
