Eh, I doubt they were a thing in the "The last movie" and in the trailers and such, it seems Naruto starts to fall for Hinata.

So I doubt it meant much to him when they got together.

Ofc it will hurt ... its not easy to see someone you love pining over someone else (I can attest that personally). But a good and wise person does what must be done even if it means sacrifice .... Love at the same time more complex and more simple than most kids on NB thinks. We all do what we must do yet acceptance road to peace.

Well 'crush' isn't the real word ... You see you can never truely forget someone you actually loved, so its silly to try to do so ... The only cure is acceptance and actually giving that space to a very small corner in your heart ... so small that it doesnt affect any one of your later vital life decisions. That is what I think happened.

As for SS .... Sasuke did a total 180 about his feelings towards Naruto in 698 and so it is not a really surprise to me that it extends to other people too. Not to mention there is VERY VERY important parallel here, by his Sasuke's own words he was trying to emulate Itachi who he at that time saw as the true form of Hokage .... And you remember what Itachi did? He killed his parents and genjutsued the brother he loved above all else for the greater good .... In parallel Sasuke Genjutsued Sakura and tried to kill Naruto for what he percived as the greater good. (Then there was that 'Thank you' when he left for the first time and the forehead poke when he left for the second) These are the subtle things that people miss when they see only what they want to see.

Yea i see what you mean. I really feel for Naruto. I hope they talk about it later. Now that you mention it, that 180 turn was really weird. I dont think Sasuke was really interested or at least was prevented from opening up at all. I wished Kishimoto didnt rush it and just added, even just 10 more chapters. Im not too hyped for the sequel other than for the reason that i dont want to see Naruto end.
