Anywho, I want you to attach the shadows then make the shadow create tendrils to rise up around the target and stab him in various locations, damaging and binding the target with a more aggressive approach. If you recall, Shikamaru preformed this technique on Hidan during their first encounter.

Now, pretty much the same thing but you'll create a shadow go up the targets body in the shape of the hand and, strangle them until they die! Actually, this was a fav part of mine in the series. The best way to explain it is for you to view it.

He causes a human shaped arm to rise from the shadow, and the hand immediately slips around the clone's neck and chokes him. The hand has a steel-vise grip around the clone's neck and wont let go, strangling, him, and causing him to poof due to the lack of oxygen

Very effective indeed, student. Now, let's move back a little and talk about being a Nara and effectively using our shadows in unconventional means. So, a source of light affects our shadows greatly, whether it be by fire or a flash light. Now, imagine a dark night - torches spread all around. Now you can only move in the light itself and not in the dark.

Sensei snaps her fingers.

Suddenly it's dark, only torches are there and spread around.

I want you to train your shadow in a way, move from one source to the only until you reach me. Concentrate carefully.

As sensei snaps her fingers, the whole room is suddenly dark until torches are lighted on fire. Now eerie shadows alluminate the room. Like normal, I charge chakra into my shadow, giving me control of it, and then begin to manipulate it. To my suprise though, the shadow stretched is much larger and much faster. As I concentrate and moves it from shadow source to shadow source, the shadow becomes bigger and stronger. I weave seamlessly through shadows until it reaches you, and once it reaches you, traps you firmly. You cannot even move a finger, nor break out of it using the amount of brute force you used last time

Proper use of light and shadow will help you greatly. Like, I mentioned with a flash bomb. It can be used in your favor but also could eliminate your shadows completely. Also, you could use battlefield terrain to your advantage - kind of like Shikimaru used against Temari in the chuunin exams. Take a look at that again o get a better idea if you've forgotten.

Sensei suddenly strikes the ground erupting many holes and creating a network of rabbit sized tunnels under the ground.

Same as before but use the tunnels as your guide. Also remember that tunnels have two parts of light with one the middle section of dark so they're ideal for shadow movability.

Stein listens to the sensei's lecture, and as Sensei caused a large amount of tunnels to form, he sent his chakra in his shadow in order to manipulate it. He then stretched out his shadow, and made it go into the closest tunnel. He begins moving his shadow through the tunnels, absorbing that shadows from down there into his own, allowing his shadow to grow in size and power. He does this until his shadow reaches yours and then subsequently binds you, the bind being even stronger than before

Goody then. Let's move onto other training's then. Now, with use of flash bombs extend your shdow at extreme speeds like I showed you before but at the point of hitting, manipulate the shadow to become a large human fist and slam it into my clone. Completely crushing him.

I pull a flash bomb out of my magic hat and then throw it at the round behind me. It explodes, emitting a blinding light that greatly increases the size of my shadow. I insert my chakra into it and then extend my shadow, because of the flash, the shadow moves at triple the speed it normally could. Before it hits mr. clone, I force the shadow to rise up and then manipulate the shadow, shaping it into a large fist. I slam it into your clone with such force and momentum that it crushes him and causes him to go *poof*
He could do nothing in the face of my shadows

Good, good.

I want you to take out a smoke bomb or many of them. Throw them at my clone so that they burst and cover him completely. Now, to the normal eye one would think you'll be rushing in for a kill strike or some sort of silent killing tech. However, what you'll be doing is quite different. You need to manipulate your shadow to crawl upon the shadow and encircle it. Once your shadow completely covers the smokes screen you constrict your shadow bringing in all the smoke and the target crushing him in an explosion of condensed smoke.

So, my shadow is rising up and completely covering the smoke, wrapping in towards himand the shadow wraps around him and the smoke explodes on him?

Or my shadow controls the smokes shadows to come in and explode on him?

Stein takes out a smoke bomb and throws it at sensei's clone. Smoke from the bomb envelops the clone, which would likely keep him on guard. Stein then focuses his chakra into his shadow, and stretches it towards the clone. Instead of trying to capture his shadow, he caused the shadow to rise up from the ground, and encircle the smoke. He makes it so that the shadow completely covers the smoke and then brings it in, closing around the opponent and taking the smoke with it. He does this until the shadow is completely covering the user, and the smoke inside of it explodes, poofing him

Now for a simple use of manipulation.
Use your shadow to create multiple tendrils.

Sensei throws many kunai all around you!

Use the tendrils to pick up the kunai and throw them at the targets.

Points at targets.

I focus my chakra down into my shadow, giving me the ability to manipulate. I stretch out my shadow, this time in more then one part and cause them to rise from the ground, creating 6 shadow tendrils. I direct these tendrils over to the kunai and pick them up. I then use the tendrils to fling them at the targets, hitting the bullseye each time

I focus my chakra down into my shadow, giving me the ability to manipulate it. I stretch out my shadow, this time in more then one part and cause them to rise from the ground, creating 6 slim shadow tendrils. With extra carefullness, I cause each individual whip to wrap the hole on the end of the kunai. The shadow tendrils lift them in the air, ready to be thrown. I close one eye, aiming for the target and sticking out my tounge, cuz that always helps with aim. One by one, I throw the kunai at the bullseyes, this time hitting the target
I hit it!!
