This is the basic of all shadow jutsus which is usable by everyone in the clan who knows to manipulate their shadows. The Shadow Imitation Technique allows the user to extend their shadow on any surface (even water) since it is just a shadow. Once it comes into contact with a target's shadow, the two merge and the target is forced to imitate the user's movements.It's also possible to split one's shadow, either to trap more opponents at once, or to create a distraction. The shadow can also be attached to people without binding them, letting the "victim" move freely. Doing that has the purpose that when the person, the shadow was attached to, makes contact with a third person, to bind the latter one with the shadow.

When you extend your shadows, you have to maintain the rat handseal. Once the shadows are connected, you can do anything. Try again.

How do you throw kunais when you are maintaining the rat handseal? Its not a one handed seal. You need to use both the hands. And you cannot leave your handseal until the shadow connects.

Once you have used the Shadow Immitation Jutsu, you cannot use any elemental technique while the jutsu is active, which is one of its biggest disadvantages.To make up for that, the members of the Nara Clan reply on Shadow Neck Bind.
It is possible to inflict direct damage to the enemy by transforming and moving shadows endowed with physical power.It is possible to attack body parts like fingers and such by turning the shadow slender and to bind the opponent's body in order to restrain them.The user can also use it on himself as shown by Shikamaru who used this technique on himself to break his finger, using the pain to escape from Tayuya's genjutsu. As The clone is trapped in my shadow binding technique, I then manipulate the shadow further to form a shadow hand.

Two members cannot use 'shadow binding' on one another. For you to use shadow binding on me, you need to first capture me in your shadow imitation and then use the said jutsu. And when I'm captured in you shadow immitation, I cannot use binding on you.
I'm not exactly sure of what you asked in the second question. The shadow travels at the speed that was mentioned in the scroll that I gave you previously.

This is one of the few jutsus I liked. By infusing the blades with the user's own chakra beforehand, the blades are given the effect of his shadow techniques. By using these weapons to pierce the enemies' shadows, they are paralysed in place.
I now quickly take out a kunai from my pouch and channel my shadow chakra into the kunai, I then throw the kunai towards the leg of the clone. As he tries to dodge the kunai,the kunai hits the shadow of the clone and then..

The opponent is trapped as long as you keep him trapped. Which means, unless he uses some light emitting jutsu after he is trapped, or if you lose your shadow chakra control, he wont be able to escape. But remember, this follows the same restrictions as shadow imitation.

Form the rat handseal to materialise two copies of yourself made of your shadow chakra. Once you have created the copies, you can leave the handseal (no need to maintain it) and manipulate them to punch your opponent once before coiling around him to crush him.

This technique is the same as 'Human Shadow Simulation Technique'. Dunno why they made a separate technique for it. So yeah, make replicas of youself (two) and use some freeform strikes before squeezing the opponent to finish him off.

I now channel my chakra through my shadow and manipulate it to form two images of myself, I then materialize those to images so that I no longer need to maintain the Hand seal.I then manipulate the two shadows to hit the opponent and coil around him and crush him.

There are many advantages for this technique,The user once created the shadow and materialized into two different copies of himself he need not maintain the rat hand sign.He can perform many combo attacks.The shadows can also be used for sneak up attack.

I now take a Flash bomb from my ninja tool kit and throw it behind me. It then creates a light source behind me so that the length of my shadow is formed large. I then manipulate the shadow to create a big hand (akimichi hand size) and then materialize it.I then manipulate the Hand to Crush the opponent.

Very Advantageous jutsu for surprise attacks, since flashbomb is used which will rapidly increase the extent and the power of the shadow the opponent will find it difficult to counter the giant hand i.e the reaction time of the opponent will be decreased therfore there are maximum chances that the jutsu will be successful.

I am now in mid range with the opponent, I now throw a flash grenade behind me and the shadow is casted very near the opponent . I then quickly manipulate the shadow and trap the opponent in my shadow possession jutsu. I then manipulate the shadow to perform a giant hand and crush the opponent.

Like in the above technique I throw a flash bomb behind me which not only blinds the enemy by the light source also creates long enormous shadow.I now put my leg in front of the light source and then close my hands to restrict the enemy's movement.

I then use the giant shadow hands to crush the opponent therby making the escape nearly impossible.

The only thing that you can perform after Shadow possession is the shadow neck binding. Because it continues after shadow possession. You can create some CJs if you want, jutsus that you can use after shadow imitation. But this jutsu cannot be used like the way you stated. Please provide me with another combination.

As now I am able to sense the opponent from the ground below, I travel through the ground and sneak up behind the opponent.
Now I throw a explosive tag towards the opponent with a flash bomb with it, as the opponent tries to dodge it..the flash bomb throw to his side cast's his shadow on the other side.
Now I quickly make use of this opportunity and infuse some of my shadow chakra to a shuriken and throw it at the shadow without the opponent being aware of it.I trap the opponent in my shadow shuriken paralysis jutsu.
As the opponent is binded I then quickly drop a flash bomb behind me to extend my shadow and manipulate my shadow to create a very big hand from it and smash the opponent with that hand.

The enemy is present in front of me at long range. I now use a kage bunshin jutsu to create a clone and the clone uses the kage imitation technique but couldnot reach the enemy, by doing this I make the enemy think that my shadow cannot reach him. I then use some earth jutsu to distract him and once he is distracted I drop down a Flash bomb behind me and place my foot in the path of the light source produced by the flash bomb. this will produce a large massive shadow in a very short intrval of time thereby giving the opponent a element of surprise.As the shadow is ready I then constrict the enemy easily just by closing my hands.
