Can anyone explain to me why Minato was taking a nap during the war. He was literally woken up by the Sun..... Did he just jump to Konoha and felt like since he was back home he might as well just take a nap?

He could have jumped anywhere on the battlefield because he had several locations marked. He could have jumped to sea where he had marked and came back to fight.

Why did he jump to Kohona? He must have went there for something. Was he looking for a special scroll with a jutsu he created to defeat Madara? He went back to Konoha for a reason. Orochimaru discovered the mechanics behind Reaper Death Seal from Konoha and how to counter it so I think there might be something there to help against Madara, but only Minato knows.

Did anyone notice his right foot is missing? Or is it just blocked by the stoneheads? He was passed out because of the black balls....hehe
