-that means as long as there's a Juubi , the possibilities of Hagoromo to appear again are very likely


-Hagoromo is the only one who could stop the Juubi...

-i believe that the sage is somehow immortal...but becuz of his humble ninshu , he belived that DEATH is every humain being's natural fate...thats why sage decided to die (or better said seal himself away through some unknown fuinjutsu).....

-Hagoromo did this so that no one (orochimaru) could ressurect him ....


-Hagoromo also let his chakra travel through generations :

1-to spread his ninshu to his transmigrants..

2-to keep an eye on his mother's seal..and prevent the threat of his mother's come back!

Truth be told, I'm also waiting for the reinsertion of the Nunoboko into the game.

Why would Kishimoto bring the most powerful weapon into the manga, to destroy it in a pair of chapters? It is way too strange.

Also, it is interesting how you say that it may be the seal to Hagoromo's soul, and you even linked this seal as a counter-measure to avoid his revival through common means (Edo Tensei).

This makes Hagoromo quite similar to other sealing method that has been discussed lately, the RDS (Hamura Ootsutsuki may be the guy behind this seal).

If he was immortal, then he wouldn't have aged to the point where he was an old man. Hagoromo was also never proven to be a master of Sealing Jutsu, thought its likely as Naruto has show ability in sealing after gaining his abilities and Kaguya saw Hagoromo in Naruto. That being said, he said Hamura and himself sealed the Juubi, not himself. He also used powerful tools to seal with, meaning that he himself was probably not really gifted in Sealing without them. Also, Obito said that it was; "A sword of the soul". Meaning that it listens to the soul of the person who holds it, if their soul is weak, then so is the blade. Hagoromo also probably used the sword to shape the world after Kaguya's destruction or he used it against Kaguya. (Or perhaps Hamura wielded the blade?)

Viz clearified that the only one who sealed the Juubi was Hagoromo.
