me too. i continue to wonder about this exact page.
i don't know if the shadow was just used as a symbolic ploy, or if meliodas actually has a less human, more monstrous form & i continue to wonder if he himself was a commandment & when we'll see his true power.

There are 3 probabilities:-
1. His power was sealed while he wasn't by the goddess clan.
2. Merlin too something from him or he gave something away to Merlin which prevents him from transforming into a demon completely and harm his loved ones.
3.The King made them promise not to unleash their full power so as not to destroy the kingdom.

great minds. i think theres a reason we never get to find out what happened 10 years ago and merlin dances around it. i think when danafor was destroyed, when he committed his sin, he asked merlin to seal his powers to prevent it happening again. & she erased his memory too I'm assuming. however as of late the topic comes up more and more. so I'm sure nakaba is about to delve into that part of the story soon w/ the demons returning and all.
