Hello! This is Chapter 7 of the Namikaze series! Please read the others before you read this one!
Minato, Oiichii, and Sumago were walking with the young prince through the village. On the corner of his eye Sumago could see a ninja spying on them.
"Umm...have-have you noticed that there are ninja following us?" asked Sumago worried. "Have-have we done anything wrong?"
"No," answered the prince. "Even though you three are protecting me...they still need to make sure I am a hundred percent safe. You never know what will happen."
Minato looked at the sky, and swept sweat off his forehead. "The humidity here is so bad. How can you wear a robe in this kind of weather?"
"We of the Jungles are used to it."
Oiichii felt a bit under the weather. He hoped it wasn't malaria. There were a lot of mosquitos here during this time in the year. Oiichii had gotten a bit about two times. You could see the bumps on his leg.
They made it to a restaurant. It looked really fancy. The trio and the prince stepped in.
Minato was surprised how fancy it was. He could hear music being played, but he was irritated. He kept itching mosquito bites.
They sat down at a table, and a waiter came by.
"Hello, how can we serve you all today. Oh! Our young prince! How are you!"
exclaimed the waiter looking very happy.
"I am fine. I'll have the usual."
Minato didn't know what to get. "I'll have what he's having."
The others said the same thing too.
After a while of waiting they finally got their food. They started eating.
Minato thought it looked weird at first, but when he ate it he thought it taste good.
"This does taste good," said Oiichii. Then he fell off his seat.
"Oiichii!" yelled Minato.
"He's okay," said the prince drinking out of his cup. "That's called Fish's Breath. It's a delightful meal. First time eaters usually can't stand the aftertaste. It's very strong."
"What do you mean?" asked Minato. Then he tasted the aftertaste. He fell to the ground.
Jiraiya was walking with Siyuge through the streets of the village. "It's been a long time since I came here," said Jiraiya. "The last time would have to be about eight years ago, haha.
"That is very long ago," said Siyuge.
Jiraiya stopped walking. "Do you feel that?"
"What?" asked Siyuge.
Jiraiya looked up at the sky. "I sense something is coming, and it's not that far..." What is this feeling?
The prince and the trio made it back to the Kage's Temple. It was night time, and they had to go to sleep.
"Thank you for letting us sleep here," said Minato.
"No problem," said the prince. "You've wasted your whole day on me, so I thought I would pay you back."
They fell asleep in their own rooms. Minato kept looking up at the ceiling. He could hear Kushina's voice. Kushina...I wonder what you are doing...right now...
The next morning came, and Minato could hear the morning bells ringing throughout the village. He yawned, and then all of a sudden he stopped. Wait...it can't be!
A great explosion happened at the Temple. Minato saved his teammates, the Kage, anybody there at the Temple, but he couldn't find the prince.
Everyone in the village saw the Temple burn down.
Minato was panting. I went too fast...I'm so lucky I didn't give myself a heart attack...
Jiraiya and Siyuge appeared.
"The prince has been kidnapped," said Siyuge to all of the people there.
"How did you know?" asked Jiraiya surprised.
"I sensed it was going to happen," he said.
"Then why didn't you stop it!" yelled the Kage, and the people.
"Because I didn't know it was actually going to happen," answered Siyuge.
Jiraiya looked at him suspiciously. "Hmm..."
"He probably was taken to Mizume Republic," said Siyuge.
Everyone murmered to each other. They were saying stuff like "Is this going to be war?"
The Kage said no to this. "Do not worry my people," he said. "Everything will be fine!"
That night in secrecy the Kage gave a mission to Jiraiya and his team.
TO SAVE THE PRINCE FROM THE MIZUME REPUBLIC
"Hmm...taking the prince wasn't hard," said Totseku. "Good job Muguzaa."
Totseku was sitting down in the Grand Hall. The dead body of the king laid on the floor.
Muguzaa had the prince trapped in a cage. The cage was part of Muguzaa's body. "It was, but you know they will attack us."
"Nah, they won't attack," said Totseku. "They're going to send a team, hehe."
"Why?"
"The Village Hidden in the Jungles is too weak for an attack like that."
"Hehe, so then are we going to fight them?"
Totseku looked at the dead king, and the king dissolved into the air. "Most certainly, hehe."
