Namikaze Minato is a Master of Senjutsu

I do believe Minato mastered the Sage Arts. I find it hard to believe Jiraiya would have an asset like that and not train his prized pupil in it or not allow his prized pupil to go and get training by the toads.

So you ask "why not Naruto as well?" well Naruto already has the fox which Jiraiya felt was Naruto's answer to everyone of his skill problems UNTIL he saw that the fox chakra caused physical damage which is probably why the training stopped.

Here is the proof I see:

Minato was known for his ungodly speed.. Senjutsu is known for increasing physical attributes like speed and strength. No one so far from what we have seen has been able to match or surpass Minato's speed by normal means. Senjutsu would explain the insane speed.

Flying Thunder God is a modified version of reverse summoning and Minato had to have gotten the idea from the Great Sages. We both know that Minato used a tag and a seal to start the FTG. Naruto notes that Fukasaku makes a seal to initiate the bolder lift. The Sage Arts are linked to FTG.


Death God Seal vs Kyuubi.
From the Sarutobi vs Oro fight we saw that the user of the seal had to physically hold the subject and forcefully rip their soul out using their own spiritual/chakra strength. We saw that Oro was able to resist and pull back due to being stronger than Sarutobi at the time... So explain to me how Minato could have over powered the 9 tails Demon Fox without some MASSIVE boost in power?

I can see Gama holding the Kyuubi for Minato but I doubt Minato had enough spritual/chakra strength to overpower the Kyuubi, rip out its chakra essence, split it in two, seal half in the Shiki Fuujin seal and the other half in his kid without some sort of power boost...

orochimaru didnt avoid it because he was stronger.
he avoided it because sarutobi was dieing from the sword through the stomach and didnt have enough power to pull his soul out.
because if it was up to power betweenthe user and the opponete the shadow clones could not pull out the first and second hokage.
and they havent said it incereases speed.
it seems it just increases strenght.
think if senjustu could make you be as fast as the fourth he would be that fast while he was fighting pein.
and third reverse summoning you just dissapear in a poof of smoke.
the flying thunder god justu opens a portal.
nice theory and kishi could make anything possible.
he could have learned senjustu but i dont think its for those reasons.

i also don't exactly agree that that minato learned senjutsu on the basis that jiraya never completed his senjutsu training. no master in his right mind would subject a student to training that even he couldn't complete without extremely good reasons. as well, fukasaku said that "this training isn't just something anyone can do...this is about you and jiraya specifically." (naruto, 412-11)

I believe there is still something to that day that hasn't been told yet. It still does not all add up. For instance, the holding of 9 tails at bay. Second, the fact he had time to perform the different seal techs required to seperate the 9 tails chakra, and then seal it in Naruto, who I highly doubt was outside with him while he was fighting. I'm still of the mind Minato also sealed himself inside Naruto, or part of his power as well as the 9 tails. He created the Death God jutsu, so he of all people would know a counter for it if there was one.

Something is up, and I think all the pieces are there if we look hard enough to semi figure out what's on Kishi's mind about the whole thing.

And a bit more on topic, yes I believe he had the training. But then again, Ma and Pa would have made a silent remark about it if he had....we do know he had contact and contracts with toads...so it is in the realm of possibility and does make sense.
