Namikaze clan?

Hello everyone! New account, been lurking etc.
Basically I've been wondering about the 4th Hokages clan.
Maybe I've simply missed it somehow, but I don't recall having ever seen other members of his family being mentioned in any way. Naruto has never even asked about it.

Of course Naruto IS an idiot, but for someone that so badly craves bonds with others, you would think he'd be at least a little curious about possible relatives. (This goes for his Uzumaki side as well)

Minato didn't just pop into existance via the flying thunder god tech, so who were/are Naruto's grandparents?

I would assume the were dead as well, I mean if my grandparents hadnt seen me my whole life i would probably not care enough to seek them out

Haha well I get what you mean, but Naruto is totally obsessed with "bonds" and he wants to forgive everyone he meets (Naruto=Jesus? ) so I can't imagine him holding much of a grudge against his unknown possible relatives.

Minato was known to everyone in the leaf, so it seems like Naruto could just, you know, ask any adult in the entire village since the whole 9 tails thing is no longer a secret.

Or is he really supposed to be That dense?

Maybe they're not a clan, like Sakura's last name is Haruno but as far as we know there is no Haruno Clan so...maybe it's like that or does it somewhere say in the Manga/anime there was a Namikaze clan and I've forgotten?

I didn't necessarily mean that it would have been a major clan like the Hyuuga, but the 4th must, at some point, have had family. So if one must nitpick, replace "clan" with family. *shrugs*

yeah..the namikaze havn't really been mentioned, like we don't know much about the uzumaki but it was mentioned such a clan existed...plus we've been introduced to couple of uzumaki's but onli 1 namikaze so maybe the theory about it being similar to sakurs family might be true

it is possible the 4th Hokage's parent died before he even became the 4th because from what I have seen Jiriaya was more like Naruto's granddad from even before he was born or maybe there is a secret somewhere

I think yahiko was from namikage clan.

I don't know about that but we know that Nagato was from the Uzumaki clan but Yahiko did not have blond hair and it seems to me that Namikaze clan have blond hair

okey this is how the ninja world strted.before the five great nations there were only clans scattered on the ninja world.each clan fought for their survival in the ninja wolrd.the strongest clans survive and later on started uniting.some of the clans were wipe out but not completely.every last name is a clan.like haruno.nimikaze.all the peeple who can use chakra come from a clan..
