Name a funny time when you mis-interpreted a manga panel and thought you saw something that was way off from what was actually in the panel. I'll go first:

In the chapter when Madara stabbed Sasuke, I at first got excited because I thought I saw the juubi's eye, but it turned out that it was just Sasuke's toes that I saw.

Name a time when you mistook something in the manga for something very different.

I got confused by the Seal of Reconciliation that Naruto and Sasuke were doing at the end of the manga. I thought they were making hand seals with their hands that weren't missing, and that they were holding each other by the stumps of their missing hands.

OMG this was the exact panel I was thinking of. I got so excited when I saw that page, I jumped out of my chair. This was the #2 best moment in the naruto manga after Madara becoming the sage of six paths (b4 finding out it was genjutsu).

In gaiden, I thought sasuke's PS talked. More specifically the scan before they departed oro's hideout to save sakura. XD
