This will be revealed shortly in the manga once Madara & Tobi cross paths.. What are some of your thoughts on the role Nagato play's in all of this?

So far Madara , Nagato & Tobi are the strongest shinobi in all of the series ( That will soon change as Sasuke & Naruto develope ) But what connection do you think Nagato has with tobi & madara?

I believe nagato will be mentioned later in the story but only as tobi and madara wanted him in their plans. I think he was needed to summon the gedo mazda (can't remember how its spelled due to ingestion if alcohol) but thats all. Remember to kill hanzo he used gedo Mazda so maybe it took the pain from the death of a loved one to summon it.

Nagato didn't kill hanzo with the gedo mazo his path's beat the living shit out of him and deva path shinra tensei'd his ass to deep space. Nagato will get a mention in the future only if kishi would like to elaborate in detail as to how tobi gave nagato the rinnegan and show that madara had to have been alive in the time where he was born or atleast when he was a fetus

Umm, since when has being dead meant that one can't contribute to the story? Notwithstanding the countless dead shinobi that have been revived, many key characters (e.g., Hashirama, So6P, etc.) have been dead throughout the entirety of the series, yet they continue to serve a purpose in this story. Not even death can stop flashback no jutsu.
