Nagato's rinnegan is just Madara's EMS + Senju DNA right? Those were Madara's eyes that were transplanted into Nagato? I do not read the manga so do not say "No you idiot" or "this is common sense, of freaking course they are"

Yes, when Madara was on the verge of death, he awakened the rinnegan and transplanted it into Nagato. But I really recommend the manga because the anime teds to utterly ruin many awesome moments. Plus nothing feels better than holding a hard-copy of a naruto volume in you're hands!

Nope, Senju dna changes the ocular doujustu to have mastery over ninjustu doujustu and better control gedo mazou. When Madara was revived via edo tensei, he used genjustu by reverting back to EMS to use his genjustu and turned back to rinnegan when he wanted to use preta path

It's just like kakashi not being able to revert his sharingan back to his normal eyes like the uchihas.And it was never stated that Rinnegan is immune to Genjutsu.

nagato can't switch back to EMS, it's like a none uchiha can't deactivate the sharingan

madara transplated his eys to nagato becose nagatos bloodline is apropiate with the senju blodline, and madara wanted nagato to use rinne tensei to revive him and complete the infinite tsukuyomi. he can't swich to EMS, is like kakashi's case, he can't change his eye back to normal like an uchiha.
