Nagato with Susanoo

Considering the only requirements for having a Susanoo is that you have two MS sharingans and the rinnegan is the progression of the sharingan couldnt Pain have a Susanoo? I mean he had the rinnegan for a long time.

But he didn't have MS. Susano'o is awakened when Amateraasu and Tsukuyomi have been activated. The Rinnegan has it's own set of abilities that have nothing to do with the Sharingan. For Madara to use susan'oo he had to switch back to MS

No one can be sure because not enough is known about Rinnegan but, i was also thinking about this and i have come to believe that nagatos eyes where implants and left him unable to use EMS/MS abilities. I think this because if he could use EMS/MS abilities why didn`t we see him use a single one? He could of used one agasnit J-man, Naruto, many leaf ninja, and in his edo form but he did not. However these are just my thoughts.

Yea. thats also why tobi implanted one rinnegan instead of 2. because he still needs the EMS to use his sharingan abilities and unlike Madara, tobi does not have the ability to switch between the two

If the Uchiha stone was the only thing that told about the Rinnegan coming from the Sharingan, Pain may not have known he could use those abilities.

Really then are you saying Shisui (sorry if i spelled wrong) could never use Susano`o because in at least one of his eyes (which were MS) was kotoamatsukami and lets say that Kakashi had another MS then according to you he could not use Susano`o because he has Kamui in one of eyes. ( My point is that you just need to have two MS/EMS to use Susano`o not just ones that have Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi.) Also i do not think that Madara switched back to EMS to use Susano`o but i will reread this.

I may be wrong but, I was under the impression that Nagato could not even deactivate his Rinnegan (much like Kakashi`s Sharigan). So even if Nagato could read the stone, I think those abilities were forever out of his reach.

just because some is using a technique doesn't mean they hve to maintain their dojutsu throughout the entirety of the time they just activate and switch back

like some one with ms could use amaterasu and fire but then revert back to their normal eyes; that doesn't mean their using their eye to cast amaterasu

susnoo could also be a rinnnegan tech but I doubt it because nagato would have used it once

From my understanding:

Itachi can use Susano'o coz he's awakened Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi.

Sasuke can use it coz he has shown to use both Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu which would then give him Susano'o

I'm not very clear with Shisui so correct me if i get anything wrong but, Shisui's eyes were not MS. His ability was something that was unique to him (again please correct me if I'm wrong)

In Madara's case I think because he awakened Rinnegan he is still able to use his MS powers because he also has MS either that or Kishi made another mistake (similar to Raikage's arm)

And Nagato can't use it coz his Rinnegan was an implant, which means he did not unlock MS, whch means he does not have access to it's powers
