Nagato was Sasuke True Rival?

Obito Said in the past that Sasuke will surpass Nagato some day.I believe Nagato was Sasuke rival because Nagato is a full blooded Uzamaki and also possess rinnegan.Naruto on the other hand is half uzamaki and he did not have any uzamaki abilities until he become friend with Kurama.Sasuke never view Naruto as his rival but Naruto alway try to keep up Sasuke to become his rival.Logically Sasuke was indirectly was keeping up to Nagato to surpass him one day
