I know this is impossible, unless Nagato for some reason wanted to fight himself, but anyway which side would win? Nagatos abilities are more powerful in person, but hes also not that agile. the Paths have the number advantage but they might not be able to withstand Nagatos more powerful tech. Who would win?

Personally i think Nagato due to the nature of all of the abilities manifesting in one person and not 6 different and weaker ones

He could easily wipe out 5 of the pains (Chibaku Tensei or in general) leaving him against the Deva Path and with him having a increased advantage for every pain he destroys as he eliminates one of their skill set.

As the fight drags on the more the Paths die, the amount their overall power is reduced
Deva Path - 6/36 of 6POP'S Power
Preta Path - 5/36
Animal Path - 4/36
Asura Path - 3/36
Human Path - 2/36
Taijutsu Path - 1/36

Depending which of the paths is destroyed helps you determine how much of their original strength has been lost as a whole.

I think nagato, it would be much easier to use the techniques in one body and with less intervals between the usage of the techniques as oppose to controlling different bodies at once with more cool down. Nagato has more chances of winning
