Nagato was merely showing respect for his Sensei. He obviously wouldn't have lost seeing as how Jiraiya lacks the ability to counter something like Chou Shinra Tensei or Chibakuu Tensei.

That is correct, however, Sasuke has the means to get around the Gakidō's capabilities.

uh seeing as Nagato is restricted to not having the ability to spam his big time moves, while Sasuke can spam without that much chakra loss and getting tired, I think Sasuke has this in the bag.


That Susanoo/Amaterasu orb is already a dangerous combo for Nagato to counter, seeing that he has no substitution or clones or speed feats (unless this is real life Nagato). (thought this is kind of a fanboy scenario, so my bad).

But in the end the power of Perfect Susanoo is too much for Nagato to handle like that.

Nagato wins, he's solo king for a reason. Sasuke have no knowledge on Nagato, nor do Sasuke use PS at the start of the fight. Enton/Amaterasu/Chidori needles/Kirin/Susanoo arrows get absorbed or repelled at Sasuke. Using the Summonings increase his share vision even more, Sasuke can't control them when Nagato already is and if he Amaterasu them then Nagato ST Amaterasu off. Genjutsu not a case since no visual genjutsus has been shown to work on Nagato, even Itachi didn't bother using genjutsu on edo Nagato and Sasuke doesn't know a sound genjutsu.

I'm not going to count PS since we haven't seen Sasuke use it on his own but I'm also not counting Nagato's mastery of all 6 elements cause he master them as a kid but haven't used them as a adult. Nagato using Earth, fire, water, lightning, wing, yin-yang jutsus would be too OP. And Obito's black rods were using at least 4 elements and that's a Rinnegan ability so to Put PS in there would be to put all those elements in there.

Nagato already was a God without using Gedo Mezo or his elements so include them and wew. I wouldn't place Sasuke above Nagato until Sasuke actually master his powers, him and Naruto are too new to their powers.
