I agree that nagato wins but there is no proff that genjutsu doesn't work on Nagato. Still, Nagato would win. The paths might even have been able to win. The only reason Naruto won was because tensei had to recharge for most the fight. If he had it from the beginning naruto could have only one if he went into the chakra veil from moment 1

That's speculation. You can't say that because someone didn't do something that they can't do it. Nor can you give the reason why they didn't do it unless they state it. Itachi could have just turned around and totsuka bladed him. But he didn't. Does that mean he can't tosuka blade him? No, because he did, later.

I agree with the whole illegitimacy of the eye supremacy thing, but that isn't amaterasu, it's Blaze Release Yasaka Magatama, and he is using very tiny ones so that they don't take as much chakra, yet they burn up whole bodies all the same. But because this is a magatama and thus not instant, Nagato can absorb it.

I have Searched the entire manga for any evidence of direct superiority of eyes and I have nit found any evidence of it whatsoever. I have had this discussion dozens of times. Multiple dozens. There is nothing to suggest that the rinnegan is immune to or resists lower eye level genjutsu. Actually there is more evidence that the rinnegan alone is less able than the mangekyo and regular sharingan to resist genjutsu. But show me your evidence and then we can talk.

Lawl didn't mean to multipost. And I agree that this guy's reasoning is off but still the logic behind "Itachi didn't use tsukyomi on Nagato and therefore genjutsu doesn't work on Nagato" is seriously flawed.

It's just an opinion. Everybody has their own thoughts. I actually like everybody's ideas, and you get more of an example if you put it together. Sasuke has fatal blows, but Nagato can... Like absorb everything.
