I think the point of this thread was "who is stronger, the original nagato (before he was crippled) or his six paths of pain?" Nagato only made the paths when his legs were ruined. He is actually much stronger. The only way to defeat the paths is to separate them. You can't separate nagato. I am not sure that naruto sm could have beaten nagato
