It won't save them from him, matter of fact both Ay and Onoki combo would find it incredibly hard to beat Nagat now that I think of it well. It would be an extremely hard fight for whoever in my opinion.

I see where you're coming from, but we have seen the weighted boulder jutsu working on chakra like Susanoo. So wouldnt the gravity be heavy-end by lighted rocks technique? It's also made of chakra right? Onoki has also shown lightening humans and rocks from another world (tengai shinsei), so I think onoki could win, though a high diff win.

Nagato can absorb any technique Oonoki uses, except MAYBE earth techniques. (can he absorb moving earth if its a jutsu using chakra? logic says no, but he absorbed toad oil, and fire, and technically, those are physical things too).

even if he could not, Oonoki has no answer for Asura path or Human path. Matter of fact, Bansho tenin him into the ground and his spine breaks and he is paralyzed.
