Nagato is not winning mid diff, Madara has the Kyuubi since it is not restricted and can put his Susano'o armour on Kyuubi like he did against Hashirama and also Madara can finish Nagato with Yasaka Magatama or PS slashes.

Madara wins this low-mid diff. PS Armored Kyuubi tanks every attack Nagato has bar CT, which is destroyed by Bijuu Dama. PS Sword Slashes decimates Nagato and his Pain Rikudo.

If madara didn't have the kyuubi then I would say nagato high diff. From what we can tell so far he has mastered the rinnegan better than obito and madara because he has had the most experience. With the kyuubi madara wins low to mid diff. Normal ems madara vs healthy nagato would be a amazing fight,I wonder if madaras meteors could take on chibaku tensei

Madara is better in using the Rinnegan. Already Tobi proved a far better usage of the outer-path, what is reasoned with him being an Uchiha. Uchiha are better in the usage of Doujutsu and the Rinnegan develops from their Sharingan. So a true Uchiha with a Rinnegan and Senju DNA surpasses an Uzumaki by far. EMS Madara takes this with mid difficult at most, the current one destroys.
