No, it can't. Kakuzu's showings with his elemental masks (even when mixing favourable elements such as Fire and Wind), pale in comparison to the chakra cannon performed by Asura Path, much less one that will be performed by Nagato himself. Kakuzu at most keeps himself alive whilst losing a mask or two in the process if he tries to clash Nagato's chakra cannon with elemental streams. In which Nagato just uses it again and again until Kakuzu dies.
Water combined with Lightning Elemental Stream and Fire combined with Wind Elemental Stream will negate or at least weaken the chakra cannon enough so it won't hurt Kakuzu.

Seeing that Sage Mode Naruto's ability to react to attacks via Sage Mode sensing absolutely craps on Kakuzu's ability to react, I would say it matters a lot.

Which are too slow to react if Sage Naruto was too slow to react.
Naruto was handicaped by the attack, while Kakuzu's 5 hearts that are still free, (he has additional 5 if you don't remember) can attack.

If they see it coming. Nagato could just bring it down from behind like he did to 6 Tailed Naruto and then there would be nothing they could do to stop it.

Missles are easily dodged- Choji almost outrun one. If the masks go very high into the sky, the chakra cannon will not reach them.

Chakra propulsion boots aren't saving Nagato when he is attacked from all directions. Nagato won't even touch Kakuzu, Human Path won't help.Lightning Release: False Darkness is what Kakuzu will use to kill Nagato, though the other elemnts will severely harm him as well.

And that's not even taking into account the fact that he can fire off elemental streams of his own due to being able to manipulate all 5 elements.

You are right, but Nagato can't combine elements like Kakuzu. In the end, i think that Nagato can win thiss, but it would be a very hard fight.

There is absolutely no proof that Kakuzu can use Doton Domu on anything other than his own body, or on the earth mask. It covering the other masks is pure fanfiction.

Kakuzu's feats with Lightning attacks pales in comparison to his Fire combined with Wind Stream (Kakashi was able to counter False Darkness with 2 Raikiris, yet could not stop the Katon by himself, much less combined with the Wind mask). I have no reason to believe that it combined with Water is going to turn into a blast that equals the Fire combined with Wind Elemental Stream, which pales in comparison to a chakra cannon from Asura Path. Once again, Nagato using the chakra cannon himself will be much more powerful than Asura Path's cannon, and the mere fact that water counters fire means that Kakuzu can't even mix those two streams together without losing some power in his jutsu. Thus his masks are still getting destroyed. Especially since Nagato can just use it again and again, along with missiles and Shinra Tensei.

Fine, then Nagato takes them out with missiles, chakra cannons and Shinra Tensei before attempting to use Bansho Tenin on Kakuzu.

They don't have eyes in the back of their heads. Plus, Kakuzu isn't going to be seeing anything coming if he is being pulled in by Bansho Tenin as per my original scenario.

Choji outran nothing. Had it not been for Kakashi warping the missile away with Kamui, Choji would be dead. And that's also if I make the very generous assumption that the missile from a heavily damaged Asura Path will be as fast as a missile coming from Nagato himself.

Where are these scans showing the masks being capable of flight, and more importantly, flying high enough that they escape the range of Nagato's chakra cannon, which will be significantly more powerful than Asura Path's chakra cannon?

Literally all of Nagato's ranged attacks that I have mentioned before, his shared vision and sensing prevent him from ever falling into a situation where he is "attacked from all directions".

Assuming Nagato does not sense it coming and counter it with Shinra Tensei, chakra cannon, a Fuuton, simply dodge it or tank it with Asura Path armor and his own durability until the cooldown for Shinra Tensei is up[
