I have been posting on an old thread. Who is stronger Pein or Itachi and I felt that I should start it all over again, but will get some things straight for this one.
Nagato: Able to move freely. Therefore no sickness and in his prime. Alone but with all the Rikudo's abilities as well as his own. So no paths, but he is just one massive power house.
Itachi: No sickness therefore won't be coughing up blood in the fight, hes good as new for this, because lets face it, we all know Itachi was the man and shouldn't have died like that. He also has perfect 20/20 eyesight as well.
Equipment: Each fighter only has 5 kunai in this fight, so must be used sparingly.
Who wins this fight with bloodlust on while on clear vast land, each opponent knows of each others techs that they knew in the manga, i.e. Nagato knows of Itachi's tsukuyomi and amaterasu, but I dont think he knows of Susanoo.
Itachi knows of his techs, but doesn't know of all of the details like they all did in the village. such as the 5 second interval. However knowing Itachi he can deduce this in the fight if it isn't too late for him.
Itachi also gets Kotoamatsukami
