Nagato vs Itachi

Neither did they show Itachi full limit...

Anyways Pein/Nagato will be favourite and may possibly take it with high difficulty.

This has been over a year war between both fanboy side, so no point in getting involved again in this.

if nagato uses shinra tensei ,then itachi can use susano
if nagato uses chibaku tensei,it can be easily counter amaterasu which consume everything in it path.Chibaku tensei take time to use or form the ball moon like object.several Yaska magatama can also be use to break down the jutsu

susanoo is not a counter to shinra tensei sorry

and iff he used amaterasu on the chibaku tensei he would essentially just be burning himself when he got trapped

remember CT needed yasaka magatama, a tailed beast bomb and a rasen shuriken to destroy it. thats a sh*t load of combined power

Imo itachi would win (not easily), but yes pain has a lot of op techs but so does itachi and on top of that itachi has shown the brains to over come op techs....but all we get from pain is power not brains (if I'm wrong tell me), and imo that's not enough to beat someone with power and brains

Classic examples: naruto and Neji, Shikamaru and hidan, sasuke and dedara, hell tom and jerry lol you get the point.


So in more cases than not brains + power > power alone and that's fact


Also to all those (the op) saying that kabuto was controlling pain when he got beat (sealed) kabuto was also controlling him when he was beating up naruto and bee, 2 tail beast host...on top of that they are the 8 and 9 tails the most powerful of the beast....so kabuto did a great job controlling him, don't take away from kabuto its not his fault. The problem is itachi is just a force to be reckoned with and that's all. Pain was used flawlessly but itachi found all the holes in pain's techs end of story (which is y I think itachi would win)

It was still a 3 vs 1 fight with 3 incredibly strong opponents. Kabuto may have good control over him but it's still unlikely that he has perfect control over him, kinda like Orochimaru. It's not likely that old Hiruzen was stronger than both Shodaime and Nidaime so It's more than likely that Orochimaru didn't know how to handle them to the best of their abilities. I'm sure the same applies to Kabuto.

I understand were your coming from but we can speculate nagato made of done something different considering he has better control over his own powers and knows how to use them more effectively than kabuto. and from what weve seen he is pretty smart he did have pretty effective strategies with his 6 paths. im not saying hes smarter than itachi i know hes not but hes not dumb either he doesnt just use his powers recklessly. You got good points to why itachi could win tho my opinion is pain tho

How so? All I saw was get in and overpower ie suck up attacks, summon the whole zoo, push/pull everything, make a moon, suck the souls out of people...etc no use of tactics (outside of using 6 bodies)

lol well he had no knowledge that if you suck in sage chakra he would turn into a statue. Put it this way he wouldn't be the leader of akatsuki if he was stupid. Hes smart battlewise. And has got a lot of battle experience to know how to strategise
