preta orb didnt absorb not to mention sasuke shuriken jutsu & enton he had to use shira tensei for amaterasu basically kishi saying it cannot be absorbed aslo nagato uses bashin tenon he smashes him with susanoo fist

It isn't a distraction shooting enton arrows and frying the summons will be a effortless job. So sasuke is just going to stand their while sussano is absorbed? Not too mention he isnt absorbing it instantly. While nagato is trying to absorb sasukes sussano what do you think Itachi will be doing? Nagato is obviously leaving himself vulnerable by focusing all his attention on absorbing sasukes sussano which then leaves him open to get a totsuka pierced chest.

Susanoo isnt being absrobed you talk about itachi & sasuke as if there speed doesnt cripples nagato's no way he is landing a hit without using universal pull witch ends this for him since preta path is useless to Susanoo & enton since he cannot move 5 seconds is more then enough for him to be tooken down not to mention there genjutsu this is a stomp

it went through preta orb with no problem i belive susanoo is a aura not a chakra and when bee hit nagato off he absorb bee chakras instantly yet when itachi used susanoo to smack him he didnt absorb nothing and he used shira tensei to deflect amaterasu

preta path would have been much usefull

It's a weapon made entirely of chakra. He CAN absorb it. Just as Madara's Susanoo swords are chakra.. They can be absorbed.

This guy.. The summons are a non factor here. They get fried with Amaterasu. We already saw how cerebrus took a hit from amaterasu[

Amaterasu cannot be absorbed cos The preta path has only been shown to absorb chakra based and elemental ninjutsu. Although amaterasu is a fire jutsu, i believe it cannot be absorbed cos
1. It is said to be black flames summoned from hell and we all know preta path cant absorb summonings.
2. It is a mangekyo doujutsu therefore it is not created from the combination of physical and spiritual energy as in chakra based fire jutsus.
3. The black flames eat anything from chakra to fire to flesh and all solid materials so even if the preta path activates the absorption seal before amaterasu is cast, the flames would just burn the seal and then burn the preta path.
4. If amaterasu was absorbable, nagato wouldnt have used shinra tensei instead of absorbtion jutsu

More than likely, he used the Shinra Tensei because it's sure to get rid of the flames. Maybe Nagato wasn't sure if Gakido would work. But since he didn't try, we don't know.
