Nagato is the same state he was in when he was Edo, except he can move and doesn't regenerate.

Imo, it would come down to how long Nagato's chakra lasts. I'd say he can beat 10 mil-49 mil before running out of chakra. Maybe 5-9 mil.

I dunno how many, but he definitely can take large numbers of people, he has Chibaku Tensei and large scale Shinra Tensei, which will take down thousands of those fodders.

Anyway nagato is in the top 3 people who can slaughter the most. Rennigan techniques are more of mass destruction. Ultimate shinra tensei would slaughter. CT will sluaghter. Gedo mazo will slaughter

Large Shinra Tensei will claim thousands of lives, followed by a Chibaku when the fodders reach him again and this will really give him time to regen chakra

Spamming of summons will be an extreme help as fodders will get completely stomped by the summons

Asura path would annihilate, and Preta path would render 90% of their attacks useless and help Nagato
