I'm not saying Deidara wins. I just want to debate with the underdog because it's more fun. But i'm waiting for Nagato supporters to give real arguments over his victory and see if i can counter or not

Deidara was 19 when he died.
His fight with itachi couldn't have been more than 5 years before that. I'd guess he was around 16.

Okay, i'll start then
Deidara will probably start with on the flying C1 remodeled bird as usual
Attacking from far away with high speed C1 bombs
These bombs were capable to outmaneuver even Gaara's automatic defense(or almost)
Nagato's first defense(shinra tensei) has a 5seconds time limit. And i believe these versions of C1 could outmaneuver this
Even Sasuke(with his speed had difficulties to dodge them), so i think immobile Nagato will have even more troubles
It's possible though that he will summon the Giant Drill-Beaked Bird not only to have mobility but to increase his chances against a flying Deidara
I believe however that Deidara's maneuvers faster with his bird than Nagato's summon(by feats he could dodge all Gaara's sand attacks or almost at close range, was faster than Onoki's flying speed or other feats like that)
If Nagato uses banshou tenin, we've seen that Kakashi was capable to move his hand in his pocket and take a chain as a self-defense, so i think Deidara can take an explosive clay and throw it in Nagato's direction, forcing him to stop the attraction and do something else to avoid the destructive force of the explosion and its range
I don't think Nagato can absorb the bomb with gakido because the bombs have physical entities and are basically small creation and for types like that it requires direct contact. With the speed in which these bombs are flying, plus the dangerosity around the fact Deidara can detonate them anytime he wants(he can do that with a single handseal) makes the use of gakido useless in this battle
Shinra tensei would certainly be a problem at first but it has a certain range and considering Deidara is a flying opponent, to reach him with Shinra tensei, he would have to create a huge version of it and the bigger the shinra tensei range, the bigger the timelimit increases. Because of this he would have to be careful. Not to mention, Deidara showed the capacity to fool 2dojutsus(sharingan and byakugan) with his clay clone at 2 instances, so Nagato may end up wasting such a shot
For Chibaku tensei, i believe C3 can destroy it

Doesn't matter anyway. The fact remains he was inexperienced. Even Kisame noticed that. He grew significantly stronger since then
Seeing that no intel was specified I'm going to assume this is manga intel, in which case Nagato wins quite easily with Bansho Tenin + Preta Path + Human Path near the start of the match.
If it's no intel Nagato still wins handily seeing that he can overwhelm Deidara on the ground with his summons alone, whereas if he makes it to the sky he'll still get taken out of the air with Asura Path missiles, chakra cannon, Shinra Tensei, Bansho Tenin or a bird summon dive-bombing into his bird, where Nagato will be free to finish him off. Any clay projectile sent Nagato's way either gets preemptively detonated with Asura Path missiles, countered with Shinra Tensei, absorbed with Preta Path, or tanked with a summon.

The Asura path is something i forgot to mention but i believe the C1 birds can be used to counter-act with the missiles. They are more flexible than the missiles, so they could easily outmaneuver it. I countered the rest as mentioned
For the intel, let's say Nagato has none but Deidara has full

Bansho Tennin would reel Deidara in from his bird allowing Nagato to end it with Human Path. As for a counter to C1, Sasuke actually dodged them easily, though I agree that immobile Nagato isn't going to evade it. That's why Asura Path lets him obliterate them without having to use Shinra Tensei.

Nagato can use multiple paths at once. If Deidara does this, Nagato responds by firing the Asura Laser. Not only is the bomb destroyed, Deidara gets blown to hell.
I also doubt that absorbing them would be possible.
Flying is no issue considering Nagato can also fly via the bird, nor is an extended time limit an issue considering if Nagato hits him with a giant Shinra Tensei, he won't live another second let alone another 5 seconds.
In it's incomplete stages? Yeah.

Actually there are different types of C1(that Deidara remodel at will). The version Sasuke dodged lacked mobility. [

]. They are guided, making it harder to dodge/counter them. For Nagato to destroy them with Asura path, not only he will have to outnumber them(considering Deidara can throw multiple in his direction) but to perfectly target all of them, close to mission impossible imo. For the rest i'd counter belowHm, doesn't the laser has a charge time though? Not to mention it could only target one. What if Deidara throw multiple in his direction. Also Deidara isn't forced to create bombs that explode in contact. There are bombs that Deidara can detonate at will, so he can easily fake a counter-attack.

Well he can throw guided bombs in Nagato's direction(multiple of them) slowing down his mobility/offense at the very least if not defeat him at best. Also, Tsunade managed to do something during the chou shinra tensei(sending Katsuyu to everyone and protect them). It's possible Deidara will try to take his distance at a time or switch his place with a clay clone.
