nagato had to defeat a whole village and naruto before that he fought the nine tails. Also he didnt have all his paths he only had one. He also used a a giant shinra tensei which used up a lot of chakra even konan said it makes him lose some of his life span.

So if he's walking, its safe to say that Nagato is healthy even if he didn't directly implie it.
