nagato shield of vision question?

lets just say itachi was fighting nagato? itachi is about to use tysukuyomi but nagato closes his eye's and uses his shield of vision with his summons, if itachi put his summons under a genjutsu wouldnt logically nagato get put under the genjutsu also since he's sharing their vision also? so the genjutsu would effect nagato and his summons?

i would say that the genjutsu affects your brain and not your eyes directly

A shared field of vision with a summon doesn't really count

No although theres little proof theres more against this theory then for it

They all have seperate fields of eyesight if this was the case then all of the summons would go blind if one of there fields of vision were disturbed

thats kind of where i was at under it. but i wouldnt rule anything out when it comes to itachi so....

Itachi use eye contact as a medium to disrupt the targets chakra flow to put them in genjutsu. If itachi hits a summon/path only their chakra flow gets affected.

It's not seeing what itach does that puts you in genjutsu, that's what itachi uses to put you in genjutsu.

Nagato has incredible chakra control, full mastery over Yin Release and the most powerful Dojutsu of all.

it would just affect the summons not nagato. Ma and Pa toad's genjutsu only worked because i affected them through the hearing sense.
