Jiraiya said that Nagato has mastered all 6 nature elements and that he could use any ninjutsu he pleased. I would like to know why he selected only those he used with the six paths of Pain? Was it because of his weakened state? Or because the ones he chose were the strongest?

He has so many other things he can use with the rinne and six paths, regular element jutsu doesnt show up much, even madara isnt using much regular elementals asid from katon and wood release

He didn't use any elemental techniques because he didn't have to.

His Six Paths of Pain were already powerful. Why would Nagato want to use traditional elemental attacks when he had the powers of the Paths?

The Paths were better than using elemental techniques

There are 6 - Yin/Yang nature
