Depends which Madara you are talking about and who is prime Nagato? If you mean Nagato who can walk normally, then he can definitely beat EMS Madara from my point of view. But he is still not on the same level as Edo Madara, who is too much for him to handle. So ultimately i see Nagato in perfect condition able to beat EMS Madara high difficulty, when Edo Madara would stomp him mid difficult max

Which version of Madara are you talking about? If MS Madara, Prime Nagato mid diff, EMS Madara w/o Kurama loses high diff to Nagato Edo Madara beats Nagato mid diff.

If prime Edo Nagato had greater mobility and was using the Six Paths that wouldn't be limited to one jutsu type, Edo Nagato would likely stop him. Same goes for prime living Nagato and Madara.

I think it's that Nagato's lack of mobility was among his greatest weaknesses. Also, the more evil one is also has a factor.

However, I think even Edo Nagato the way he was shown could re-kill Edo Madara if he was better at doing attacks in person.
