damn thats a very close match up, nagato can basically absorb anything naruto can throw at him, and naruto bm can blow up CT's core with a tbb so there goes nagatos best offensive technique , then nagato cant be engaged directly or hell suck narutos soul out, i think it comes down to how well nagato can manage the speed of the km clones naruto would be sending at him as well as if absorbing kuramas tbb would create and opening for naruto to strike with frog kata or something like that

id say naruto 55/100 chance given nagatos lack of mobility

K well naruto only got captured by nagato because he jumped in to save the frog sage. As for dealing with nagato.
Nagatos strongest attack could not even hold kurama 8 tails form, but naruto now has all 9 tails plus epic amount of clones that can all be in different modes as he fight, so nagato cant absorb narutos senjitsu tech cuz he will become a toad rock. Plus his speed is more then enough to deal with ST and his BJ is stronger then 5 tailbeast BJ together so CT is also dealt with Easy

It could go either way but I think that naruto would defeat nagato if he starts off fresh like he was at the beginning of the war and is allow to use his summons. Lets say he can make a few KM clones and also Use BM, he is way faster than nagato and that would be a problem for him, so because naruto can only use BM for 5 minutes now I think its a 50/50 so it could go either way but once he can use BM perfectly for more than 5 minutes he would be able to defeat him without any doubts IMO.

Remember that this was not a full powered CT. He wasted half his chakra killing of all of konoha....

True however if a FRS, 8 tails BJ and itaci's move were strong enough to break the CT then its easy to assume that narutos BJ thats as strong as 5 BJ is more then capable and again 8 tails kyubi as not the same as 9tails.
And if for some very odd reason he did get captured he could do what he did last time stay in BM then once the move is over revert to KM and CT would just crumble like it did last time...

Sage mode clone, No Nagato has way more power in his ST then Pain, and he won't try to absorb it Again.

And let us Not forget that Huge Dog He wont die until Nagato is Dead,
and he will multiply every time he get's hit by any of the Naruto,Thus causing him more problem. :ice:

It would be completely stupid for nagato to use gedo because it would render him cripple ( and dont give the argument of now it has tailed beast chakra in it because not once has he used it with such chakra and you have no idea if it actually would cripple him or not) and naruto is fast enough to get out of the way of that slow dragon attack or it would not pull out his soul because the kyubi's soul would protect narutos. and as we know it takes 3 full days for gedo to take a tailed beast with 9 people sealing...

Well he was in intangible and naruto managed to head but him, tobi was confused in why he didn't phase through. This suggest to me that he can't more then he can.

Nagato wasn't in controll of himself.

Kabuto's plan was to Rip his soul out and revive him later, He has no intention of Draining the kyuubi of it's chakra, even though that would of been the better choice.

Plot no jutsu saved naruto's ass.

Hmm well I am not 100% convinced nagato can suck up his BM. But I really do think BM naruto has surpassed nagato and I think sasuke will when he gets the rinnegan. I don't think kishi would base the story on them and not make them the story. You say plot no jutsu saved naruto's ass but plot no jutsu is kishi and kishi is the story. And is this story is called naruto it's safe to say he will be stronger then those before him. I don't think naruto is getting loads more power up's and I think BM surpassed nagato.

Let me ask you something rate:

Nagato,BM naruto, Hashi and madara rate them 1-4 because it seems people think nagato is 1 and this story is about him

In all honesty, i think Nagato barely beats naruto, with these statistics.

50%= Nagato wins
49%=Naruto wins
1%=tie.
