I'm neither fan of Naruto OR Nagato (I was fan of the badass pain before he ran away from the dark side hihi)

- Naruto is clearly the strongest of these two..... i mean - he reflected 5 tbb's??? I don't believe that healthy Nagoto could do the same thing - His chakra ain't high enough!

+ If Naruto could fight with his godlike shadowclones vs. Healthy Nagato with summons i believe that 1 or 2 of Narutos kage clones could easily take out Nagatos summons... + Naruto got his own summons aswell.. (all those damn frogs lol)

Naruto also beats Nagato in terms of raw power!

Conclusion: Naruto>Nagato

This^. End of thread. Naruto at 16 is more powerful than nagato. Imagine in ten years or so, Naruto will be miles ahead of nagato and probably everyone else

Naruto could've broken out of that easily.... Only reason he was like that was for the plot to show hinato trying to help naruto so naruto would go nine-tails on pain

You make many good points but with Jinchuuriki, Uzuamki Clan, Sage Art and being the Main character of the story he does have the potential to go beyond Nagato but at the moment in skill and tact Naruto is no where near Nagato, Naruto's biggest failings are his lack of intellect (Which has been improving to an extent), his skill in Chakra control and Ninja skills in general, but above all else is his unwillingness to use the tact and think things out... I mean he clearly has the ability to plan and use tact but is unwilling to, Like against Pain he proved he could plan and prepare specifically for a certain battle and then against The Third Raikage he proved he could think on his feet and analyze situations to defeat impossible odds but 95% of the time he's stubborn and ignorant of the world around him and trusts that pure force of will will take him to victory and in Shippuden situations have forced him to use tact because will power and stupidity won't win it for him... Basically he treats intelligence like "Oh I'll do it if I have to" but otherwise is a blank faced moron.

+ rep for your argument. I am a Naruto fanboy (obviously) and i only agree with you if you talk about SM or KM. But BM naruto mostly likely could break nagato before nagato could ever see him coming. And if naruto is about to fight the 10-tails then he is most likely goin to obtain a new power-up, so he will sooner or later be able to trash nagato..

My logic:

Nagato says his powers pale in comparison to so6p: So6p defeated ten tails: Naruto will soon defeat ten tails.

Sooo, Naruto will soon surpass nagato.

Yes he was exhausted but check this out if the main pain would have gone one on one against naruto when they are fresh naruto would defeat pain in an instant why?

1. Yes pain was exhausted but naruto had to go through five pain bodies to get to the main pain which they were all in full power since they were using their Justus with no problems and they were all pretty strong and naruto took them all down one by one.

2. Naruto did have intel on pain but pain also has intel on naruto he knew all of narutos Jutsus because they were the same as jiraiya his sensei also because itachi and deidara both gave info on naruto plus they been watching naruto for a while so they had pretty good intel on naruto.

Bottom line naruto had to go through five people to get to the main pain so by the time he got to him naruto was exhausted and pain had just gotten his power back so actually it turned the other way around because pain was at full power and naruto was exhausted for taking down five people so that's why I say one one naruto would anialate pain hands down.

• Yes preta path can infact absorb a TBB and all, it has never failed to absorb anything.
• The Dog summoning will survive as Naruto has no way of gettng rid of them, so his 100% Vision will not go away.
• Shinra tensei never failed to push anything
• It's debatable whether he can stop CT even if he had info on it.

You may flame me, or somehow Change my mind (Although I doubt it) feel free to take this however you'd like.

1) Preta path has shown that he can absorb almost any ninjitsu, however trying to absorb a TBB which is equivalent to 5. Though this is debatable I think it is highly unlikely.

2)Dog summonings, imo are not a threat to BM naruto. Naruto has enough speed and raw power to catch the dogs off guard and competely disintegrate them with TBB.

You might say " Nagato's ST in person is much stronger" While this was only a 7 tail form. To take it even further, he actually repelled the attack so cased close. imo the jump from 7 to 9 tails is a bigger jump than Deva to Nagato. So even if Nagato used this tech in person, I put my money on the 9 tails.

4)If Naruto had no info, I agree he wouldn't know how to stop it. But we really can't tell. Because he has the raw power to single handedly destroy it, he also has the co-operation of the 9 tails who knew the sage and how he sealed the 10 tails via chibaku tensei. So im guessing he also knew CT weakness. Or even if naruto gets caught in CT, the 9 tails imo could break out of it easy.
