Re: Enough, Naruto never has and Never Will beat Nagato.
*Yes, it’s true that Naruto caught a break with Deva powers not activated til the end of the fight, but if you think that made it easy, you’re wrong. He still had to deal with: Ridiculously powerful summons, a pain that could literally pull out his soul, a pain that could revive any other pain he killed, and a pain that could suck up all his chakra and ninjutsu (he destroyed the mechanic guy before the fight even began). He destroyed all of them, and there were still 3 Pains left when Deva got his powers back but Naruto outsmarted them and took out 2 of the 3 at once.
*It’s also true that it took the 9-tails going crazy to get out of CT, but if he hadn’t gone into Kyuubi mode, Pain wouldn’t have used CT at all because it’d be both unnecessary and overkill. Plus, you pointed out that once Deva’s power came back, Naruto ended up on the ground unable to move. Well, since you talk about plot so much, what do you think that was? He had to get caught so Hinata could save him and confess to him. If that wasn’t going to happen, the fight would have gone differently. Oh and also don’t forget that it was just before that that Deva used Bansho Tenin on Pa and killed him, then Naruto ran to Deva as fast as he could and even jumped to try and catch Pa’s body that Deva had thrown, and once he caught Pa, that’s when Naruto who, by then, had gotten really, really close to Deva, got himself Bansho Tenin’d while he was close and easier to catch
*As for Number 3: he could have taken Nagato. That’s where we saw his SM+Kyuubi eyes, and I’m sorry but he could have taken Nagato—depleted of chakra while Naruto was barely even tired because of Sage+Kyuubi chakra— and Konan at that time. He was powerful enough to reject Nagatos chakra from 10 feet away and he could easily have thrown a rasen-shuriken, then if it got repelled throw another one within 5 seconds, there’s actually several ways he could have won. As for losing to words, Nagato wasn’t really a bad guy—well, at least he wasn’t evil, so when he discovered how pure Naruto’s heart was, Nagato’s own heart softened.
*During the fight during the war—just as how earlier Nagato didn’t want to kill his jinchuriki, Naruto didn’t want to fight Nagato. Even you have to admit Naruto held back big time.
*Now, while you do have valid—though still debatable—points in numbers 1-4, and even though I think it’s fair to say Naruto did win because of several breaks (but he still won) I really believe you’re wrong about Number 5 about what would happen if BM Naruto fought Nagato. Once in BM, he’s inside the Kyuubi’s chakra. He can make Sage Mode clones (as well as KM clones) to fight on the ground—he already did this, made a sage mode clone in BM to sense where all the stakes were in the other Bijuu and made KM clones to pull them out—and then preta’s pretty much canceled out because if it absorbs Sage chakra, it’s screwed—if it’s only Nagato and not the paths, then if he catches/absorbs one clones chakra then someone else can attack, get caught by mechanics and so on til someone gets him, and they would eventually get him). As for the summoning, Naruto still has an army of toads he can call on to keep them busy, not to mention the Kyuubi could destroy them all except maybe the dog but the toads can keep him busy. And, you have absolutely no evidence that Shinra Tensei could blow away a TBB, and personally I doubt it could—but if it could, it would take an enormous amount of chakra which would means Deva’s power would be gone for a longer time, leaving him vulnerable. Asura doesn’t help much if Naruto makes too many clones, especially clones he can’t see—for example, if he’s fighting just Nagato and the kyuubi blasted all the summons and the toads were keeping the dog/s busy, limiting Nagato’s vision and if Naruto used smoke bombs, he’d have a huge advantage over Nagato cuz Naruto could sense Nagato in the smoke while Nagato could not sense Naruto. The Rinnegan does not give Nagato that specific type of power—when Jiraiya did that, Pain only knew where J-Man was because one of the Pains saw Jman jumping in the smoke. Plus, no matter what mode—BM, KM or SM—the clones could easily sense and dodge the missiles cuz their speed is much greater than Nagatos. Also, you said “Naruto can do nothing against Human Path” but that’s just not true. Naruto is a mid-long range fighter, and Human Path can only take souls from the original body by making physical contact. Well, throw a rasen-shuriken and that’s it. Also, if Naruto is fighting just Nagato, no bodies of the Six Paths of Pain, all he has to do is use his clones amp’d up powerfully by Kyuubi chakra. As for saying ‘he did not figure out how to stop CT and it would crush him’ there are two things wrong with that. The first is that he does know how to stop it. He didn’t at first, but we’re talking a BM Naruto here and Itachi already showed him what do so now he can stop it—u say it’s debatable if he can stop it even with the knowledge but I say his Kyuubi TBB would absolutely destroy the core. The other problem is: even if Itachi hadn’t helped him out and shown him what do, Naruto would still beat/get out of it—he’d go full 9-tail mode, which is extremely powerful and shoot a TBB if he needed to which would obliterated the rock. And oh yeah, Shinra Tensei is not all-powerful. You said shinra tensei has never failed to push anything---that’s incorrect. It failed to push Naruto when he was barely in 4 tail mode/ all he did was plant the tails into the ground and not only did he withstand Shinra Tensei, it’s power was actually forced back on him.
*So, in summation, you do make some valid points, and yes Naruto did win the fight in Konoha with the help of some lucky breaks. However, you are incorrect in saying Naruto could never beat Nagato even though Naruto could do it in BM and possibly KM if he truly went all out (not to mention he actually did win the fight in konoha, lucky breaks or not, he won the fight). Also, what I truly don’t appreciate about your post is this: “If you are a Naruto fanboy I suggest you read this” and “this breed of Narutards is on a whole nother level.” I’m not even a Naruto fanboy, though I love Naruto the character and the manga, and in fact Nagato’s one of my favorite characters in any manga, but you’re saying that anyone who doesn’t take your side 100% and believe every word you write is a fanboy and is someone you must insult? Besides being incredibly insulting which you do not have the right to do, you’re not even as correct as you believe yourself to be. Also, your grammar is horrible—for example, the phrase “whole nother level” is a grammatical nightmare that does not actually exist and your arguments are not as infallible, reasonable, or as logical as you think them to be.
Please try to be more kind to people
Also, I’m not saying Naruto is guaranteed to win, I’m just saying that it’s easily possible. Nagato could beat Naruto for sure, but Naruto could also beat Nagato. Both characters are powerful as hell and skilled fighters, I’m a fan of both.
ps oh yeah and i'm assuming it's naruto vs healthy nagato.
