Honestly when it comes to Uchiha fan boys there is a lack of common sense, and a complete lack of proper thinking.

Preta Path can absorb infinite chakra, and since sasunno is a manifestation of the users chakra it can be absorbed. And the people saying it will take to long.... Nagato absorbed 8 tails worth of beast chakra in seconds.

8 tails amount of chakra> perfect sasunno chakra

what about nagato fanboys that think he is unstoppable they are by far the worst of the fanboys they think he can beat anyone even if that person already beat him or is stated to be two of the strongest in naruto what now are you going to prove my point?

Of course he can.
He was able to absorb sagechakra... a type of chakra, 99,999999 percent of all shinobi cant even sense or dont even know about. I guess absorbing pure chakra hanging in the air will be like eating a very delishious cake for nagato.

I dont know how much chakra edo madara had, but i guess most people cant activate it often... And with most people i mean sasuke.

Annnnd here we go with the concept that chakra absorption is Kekkai Genkai exclusive.

You are right though, it WOULDN'T be helpful in a battle though. The problem is, Nagato would have to be somewhat close to Madara for him to use Preta Path.

You notice he either has to be in contact with the person to absorb their chakra, or he has to be in contact with the ninjutsu.

If he can't get close, what is the point of it? Madara hit the mountain ranges to the side of him, and the Kage were in front of him, yet they still felt the scope of the blast.

That Susano'o probably made it so he could even sustain using the Meteor Technique if he really wanted to.

@ Enchanted Champion- Didn't realize that Nagato has absorbed infinite chakra before because as far as we are concerned, the only attacks that Preta Path is known to absorb is the Goemon technique, Giant Rasengan, Rasenshuriken, and the few others that cost a LOT of chakra, but aren't infinite.

If he's absorbing infinite chakra, he's got a lot of time to kill on his hands.

This is for a completely different topic (a verses topic). This thread is concerned with Nagato's - rather the Preta Path of the Rinnegan's ability - to absorb Susanoo.

Susano is the special technique of uhicha clan, may be the chakra of susano can be hold by uhichas only and and non uhicha can't control it's chakra just like sage chakra can't be by any one except fews .......................since its not mention so i think it can be absorbed

Actually it absorbing an infinite amount of chakra are the authors words himself from the official databook so i''m not overrating it. Check Tobi's moon eye plan again and you'll find the answer yourself.

It's definitely an interesting theory, but would Nagato even be able to get close enough (and stand still for a few moments without getting hit) to absorb Susano'o?

However, I guess it is possible since Susano'o is a manifestation of the user's chakra.
