So who wins, nagato (and his 6 paths) and konan against Sasori, Deidara, Itachi, Kisame, Hidan, Kakuzu, and Zetsu (no tobi)?
Konan doesn't have prep time, Itachi can use his MS as much as he wants (won't go blind), Deidara has sufficient clay to make enough bombs.
Location: Valley of the end.
Intel: Nagato obviously knows all the members strengths and weaknesses. Let's say Zetsu briefed the others on all the paths powers.
Personally i think the other Akatsuki members win this one. The six paths wouldn't necessarily overwhelm the akatsuki, Sasori has 100 puppets and most of the others can make strong clones. Konan isn't a huge factor because Deidaras explosives are on par if not better then hers. Itachi's susano'o with his weapons could take on a few paths, however if Itachi was busy fighting them the others may not be able to create a strategy because honestly most of them aren't smart.
However members like Hidan wouldn't be a huge factor either. As far as i know the Paths don't have any blood flowing through them, so Hidans ritual would be worthless. Deidara wouldnt be able to fly because of the Paths gravity abilities, so his long range abilities would be useless.
I think in the end the akatsuki members beat Pein with some casualties. Deidara would take out a Path or two with his C0. Hidan would probably be defeated quickly, as would Zetsu. Members like Sasori and Kakuzu could go either way. But Itachi and Kisame (IMO) would come out on top.
Note: Nagato doesn't have any Bijuus, so he can't use them in gedo mazo.
