Ametaratsu
Black flames that reduce anything in its path to Nothingness

Susanoo
A thechnique that summons an ultimate defence for the user put places a massive strain on them Complete with Yata mirror and Sword of totsuka

Tsukyomi
The Ultimate genjutsu that needs eye contact to be preformed

And many other varities of genjutsu


OK so now Nagato pawns Itachi as you can clearly see to beat Ametarasu
Nagato uses Shira Tensi to revert the flames away

To beat Susanoo Nagato uses Chibaku Tensi to catch him may fail or may not luck is in favor for Nagato more

Tsukyomi Simply do not make eye contact with Itachi and If Itachi does it to one path the others can Attack

And lets say Itachi kills 3 of the paths like j man Nagato brings them back to life

So IMO Nagato Pawns Itachi
