I dissagree on the "easily" part...

Nagato is more powerfull than Itachi, but he would need a hell of a fight to finally beat him... Itachi is no easy material for anyone.

Also, Tsukoyomi balances things a lot, so I give a maximum of 55% to Nagato and 45% to Itachi.

What makes Nagato stronger? In my opinion both of them are equal, their chance of winning is 50% with high difficult. First of all, Itachi is a lot smarter than Nagato, that's ain't a comparison, secondly both of them possess strong abilities. Nagato has his six paths and Itachi has his Genjutsus, Amaterasu and Susanoo on top of his intelligence and talent. Only fools would assume that Nagato has a high chance of winning.

What I don't understand,is how Itachi is smarter than Nagato...
A lot of you seem to use this arguement but none has aaaaany proof at all.

Id like to see this too people!!! you guys say he is super duper smart but I have only seen failed plans and a lucky accident (when He got caught by the genjutsu)

But you have to admit the KA plan was a genius one. There was no way Itachi could have foreseen Edo Tensei. If Edo Tensei hadn't happened, it would have worked.

Some people fail to notice that the evolution of sharingan to rinnengan is the rinnengans true power. Nagato has half that power. that is why itachi said that by combining both our ocular powers together we can anything. Nagato has only plain reningan powers without sharingan powers. Which means tht his rinnengan is not at the S06P rinnengan or madara's.


Chibaku tensei takes time to carry out, and while nagato does it, he will already be sealed by susanoo atleast 20m away

his speed combined with his stealth surpasses mostly everybody else. Here you can see Itachi sneak up behind killer bee properly where as minato the fastest ninja couldn't . No I am not saying Itachi is faster then Minato just his stealth is better as you see below Minato had not realized that killer had a knife towards his gut until it was too late.

Nagato has no answer for the Sword & Amaterasu

What will speed do against a person that you cant touch because your soul will get sucked out or even your chakra? Itachi can run around/behind/on top Nagato all he wants but he ain't going to attack him directly head on or even use a ninjutsu based attack because frankly they are all useless against Preta Path and Human Path abilities.

Bold: Um yes he has? The whole point me of saying Nagato being able to sense Amaterasu while Itachi is about to use it makes your point irrelevent. As for Totsuka Sword, in order to use it Itachi's full armoured Susano has to be in range, which is not going to be easy because of these reasons:
- Shinra Tensei to further away the distance
- Nagato being able to fly, with or without his summon
- Banshou Tenin to possibly pull Totsuka sword from Susano's hands


Again like I said in my first post, Itachi may only possibly win if he catches Nagato with his Tsukuyomi, if. But the odds are against him as Nagato has higher chances of winning. U_U

Chapter 550 "Koto Amatsukami" page 7, Kabuto says; "I underestimated him...! Uchiha Itachi... He's clearly on another level to the others. Not even the Edo Tensei can hold him..."

This might be a response to how powerful Itachi is, including his intelligence, which leads me to believe that Itachi might be slightly smarter than "the rest" (including Nagato).
