] All that leaves is CT's gravitational force ripping SS apart, or Nagato would drop it straight on its head. Every other Mokuton technique is either absorbed or intercepted by other Six Paths techniques.
Everyone's first instinct is to say Hashirama, and I don't blame them. He's one of the strongest characters in the manga, but most of his power is from Sage Mode, and entirely from Mokuton. According to the wiki, unsure of how accurate it is, Mokuton is converting one's chakra into a form of life, being a tree or wooden part. If Nagato were to so much as touch a Mokuton-based attack, he could make the wood powerless by drawing out its chakra.

Every jutsu, regardless of it's chakra properties, is sucked away and rendered ineffective.
This leaves Nagato having to deal with base Hashirama's taijutsu skills, which he can easily counter using the powers of the Rinnegan. So, Nagato takes it without much difficulty via Preta Path.

then there is no preta path. And also, its not just the wood dragon technique that can use the absoribing. Its a mokuton power. Wood dragon simply helps restrain the person.

The only technique that has shown being able to actively absorb large amounts of chakra is the Wood Style: Wood Dragon Technique. Others only passively take in natural energy.
