I don't know if this is going to be Kishi's latest frustrating mistake guys...
Nagato was a member of the famous Uzumaki clan, unlike Naruto both of his parents were related to that bloodline.
Trained under the control of Jiraya Sensei, and being supposedly the savior of this world Nagato was granted with the eyes of Rikudou Sennin. As a disciple of Jiraya he learned any ninjutsu he could as a child.
Manage to unlock the secret techniques of Rikudou and efficiently mastered all of them including RT.
But even with his power as a member of the Uzumaki clan it wasn't enough to take control over Gedou Mazou, although he manage to use certain jutsu through that statue which was incredibly overpowered.

I'm sure that all of you remember how much chakra Nagato gathered inside him, although he was blessed with the Rinnegan he never stood a chance to make object large enough to equalize Rikudou's moon.
Though it's probably because Rikudou had Juubi inside of him...
Nagato has never learned YinYouton power so does Naruto.


So Naruto doesn't really have anything to offer to believe that he can be compared with Rikudou and he's hardly related to Uchiha or Senju.

actually according to Madara nagato was given madaras eyes and because of the uchiha eyes and senju (since uzumaki have ties to senju) DNA in him. he unlocked the rinnigan.

I mean, Nagato didn't awaken those eyes. And we don't know that he couldn't take control over the Gedo Mazo, he could have just been waiting to fill it up completely before even trying.

1st we can't say that Nagato's father & mum are both from Uzumaki clan, best we can say is that at least one of them is; n the anime, only the mum has the classic red hair of the uzumaki (Naruto Shippūden Episode #172).
When you say he was granted the eyes, I hope you mean that Madara gave him the eyes (Chapter 606; page 13).
I don't remember Nagato having problems controlling Gedo Mazo.
& no place mentions Nagato 'gathering' chakra; of course as an Uzumaki, u expect that he wud have higher chakra levels than others.
When the SO6P created the moon, Gedo Mazou was inside it, so how come you say the Jubbi was inside the SO6P when Gedo Mazo is the body of the Jubbi after it was split into 9 beasts.
The Uzumaki's are distantly related to the Senjus and Uchihas; so Naruto is related to them via his mum; for all we know the SO6P might even have been an Uzumaki!
