Nagato can absorb any types of chakra?

If Nagato can really absorb any type of chakra, why wasn't he capable to absorb Susanoo here?

I don't know why Kabuto didn't use Nagato to absorb the Susanoo; Maybe he didn't realize Itachi was going to help out Naruto and Killer Bee

If you look at the picture beside the one with naruto being grabbed you will notice kunai in the eyes of the lizard, next page it should show kunai in the other summons eyes as well, and a quote from FMA "Even if you have the eyes of a god, you cant block an attack you cant see coming." And considering the ability is a defensive manuever.....

Simple, Kabuto failed to realise itachi took out his shared vision, Then he took Kabuto by surprise when he attacked nagato, So kabuto didn't have enough time to use preta path.

If kabuto had preta paths shield up when itachi attacked nagato then it would of gotten absorbed.
