Nagato and the Uzumaki

Just some questions I don't seem to be getting an answer out of databases,

How does Nagato fit in the family tree if he is an Uzumaki?

Is he Kushina's brother and therefore Naruto's uncle?

How did a Uzumaki end up in the country of Rain?

Also, if only Senju and Uchiha are descendants of the SO6P, from where do the Uzumaki inherit his chakra capacities?

1. Nagato, like any other Uzumaki, has large chakra and life reserves, he just happen to be chosen by Madara to be the bearer of his Rinnegan.

2. Highly unlikely that he is Kushina's brother. (Although it would be cool)

3. The Uzumaki had to scatter across the land because of the destruction of their place, Land of Whirlpool.

4. Uzumakis are close to their relative clan, the Senju, so somewhere along the line they appeared. Not much is known about the Uzumaki clan apart from their obvious traits and great sealing abilities.

Uzumaki's initial country was destroyed so the survivors spread around the world.

it was said that all uzumaki"s fled to save there lives his parents could of fled there and died with him

Well as for how he ended up in the land of rain, there's a logical explanation. After the destruction of their home and a majority of their people, the few remaining survivors went on to live a nomad existence, scattering around the world. His predecessors could have easily made their way to Amegakure.

As for how he fits in the family tree, I'm unsure of that myself. However, I doubt that he is so closely related to Naruto. It is possible but not likely that those that preceded him were directly related to Kushina, but this may not be the case. He could just be the child of some random people who survived.

I look at it this way because of Mito and Kushina Uzumaki. Mito, the Jinchurriki before Kushina, was also a member of the Uzumaki clan, but was in no way closely related to Kushina.

So in short, there is no true evidence to my knowledge of where he fits on the family tree in relation to Naruto.

I remember kushina telling naruto that uzumaki is a combination of senju and hidden eddy clan or something like that's blood so they would have senju blood and some traits
