this is in part a charcter reviewbut at the same time i have a bit of a theory
Nagato Uzumaki (assumed last name but is known of the uzumaki)
Nagato as a young boy whos parents were killed. he was orphaned and was starved. his only company was a a stary dog named chibi. at an unknown point before hand The legacy of madara of uchiha was implanted into his eyes. upon the death of his parents. The eyes awoke and he avvenged his parents.
Now the eyes seem to only be awoke in times of emotional stress .
he was going to starve to death. he met his first friend. Chibi. chibi was his dog. then he met konan and yahiko
They in turn search out the sanin of the hidden leaf
Become trained by Jiraiya
Nagato inturn Defeats hanzo the salamander in responce to the death of yahiko
This creates Pain
Nagato hands down was the strongest ninja in one on one combat a non crippled nagato is greater than most all other characters.
aside from orochimaru he is probably the most intriguing character Kishimoto sama created
the look the mannerisms what was added to his anime equivalent with girei his theme song and his english and japanaese voice actors
the paths paths of pein aswell looked amazing it was a nexus of awesomeness
but heres my theory about the rinnegan in nagato
the are technically izuna's eyes but what i dont get is how i get as a kid no one noticed his eyes or more likely the eyes they did not notice because rinnegan wasnt active. so nagato has the ability to turn it on and off.
And please dont bring up madara being stronger cause madara unlocked it at old age and more than likely didnt fight with them. so i doubt madara mastered all chakra natures and all paths. Nagato grew up with the eyes. and also
one mistake with the anime its suggested that danzo already had shisuis eye. unless no one new that danzo had an eye and they were meant to be bandages to cover an eye he had lost. which is the likely explanation.
only reason i bring that up its showed danzo in episode 173 of shipuden. in nagato's story.
