Nagato and Obito

It seems Nagato can handle Rinnegan but Obito almost lost himself. how come? Nagato is Uzumaki but Obito is Uchiha/Senju. does this mean uzumakis are better than both

once nagato summoned half of gedo mazo he became anoretic while obito was abusing gedo with 7+ bujus and still was said to be stronger rinnegan user then nagato.
Basically nagato had two eyes but couldnt use them full power while obito calculated that another full power rinnegan could be problematic
