Is "nabari no Ou" anime any good should I expect epic battles like in Naruto and HxH

It's been a while since I've seen this one. During my recollection of it when I listed it under my MAL account I gave it a 7/10 which, to me, anything 7 and up is worth watching through to completion while the 5s and 6s are usually only tolerable if you are particularly inclined to that specific show or genre.

Looking back on the premise it seems like a modern era ninja tale with your generic everyday high school anime setting. I cannot recall exactly the details and if I were to watch it again (which is very likely since I like to re-evaluate my tastes) I might give it a lower score. However, from what I remember it was relatively enjoyable and it may have been for characters more than the plot itself. Only clicked here since I saw the title of the show and it was something that remained in my head so it may be worth sticking with for a bit longer. I'd say give it another 3 or 4 episodes, bring yourself to the 1/3 mark.

I feel like the writers were lazy in this they didn't try their best to make it unique for people like me who already watched naruto its liking watching another naruto anime that's failing misarable due to its poor plot and poor character development, I went into it expecting something along the lines of samurai champloo and darker than black

Anyway I will take your advise and give it another try, maybe I will end up tolerating lots of BS like you.
